I'd vote for the older child. My daughter is a size 4 and I purchased a large child size for her.
For the sake of marketing. Shoes are all there is to it. br>Go ahead and do it.
Size 6
Shoes for Little Kids range in size from infant to size 12. Then there are the large children's shoes, which range in size from one to ten. So, if you're a size 4 1/2 in kid's shoes, you'd go with the Big Kid sizes. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

This was purchased in a size 6 for my stepdaughter. Her feet are quite large. She is 11 years old and wears a size 8 in women's clothing. She could wear a size 6 in big kids. She raved about how soft and comfortable it is. Now I have to remind her to remove her shoes when she enters the house;.
They were made to go together. As a point of reference, I am a size 7 1/2 women's shoe. They were a perfect fit for me in a size 6. They are extremely comfortable shoes, very light weight, and the laces stayed tied all day long! They run about 1 1/2 sizes smaller than women's shoes, so if you are a women's 9, order a kids 7 1/2, etc. They are extremely comfortable shoes, very light weight, and the laces stayed tied all day long! I was a little skeptical after reading a review that said these were fake Nikes. I only wear Nike, and these are genuine Nikes, not knockoffs. They're a little stiff out of the box, but after a 15-minute walk around my house, they're fine.
These shoes, on the other hand, are absolutely incredible! They're Nikes, and they're well-made and comfortable, but they're a kids' size 4, and I'm a size 6! As a result, I'm not sure what's going on. I ended up keeping them because they're so nice, and I just bought new ones that fit my daughter and son!.
This pair of shoes is fantastic. They're both stylish and comfortable. If you step in mud, it's very simple to wipe clean. The order was well worth it! The only thing I would suggest is that you use your store's sizing - I'd never worn Nike shoes before, so I went to the store to get sized, and I'm glad I did! They are exactly what I was looking for - However, I am a size 7 in shoes. Normally, 5 is the maximum number. And then there's Nike - I wear 6. 5 kids. Isn't it strange?.
Shoes that are very cute. Nikes are a great pair of sneakers to wear. They are extremely popular among my daughter's friends. There is only one negative aspect to this. At the toe's tip, they're already separating. In the front, the material appears to be a bit flimsy.
Sizes for girls are typically smaller than those for boys. So the description says it's for girls, but the invoice says it's for boys. These were clearly boys' sizes; I ordered a 4 1/2, which was slightly larger than the 5s I had previously purchased on here and found to be too small. However, it appears to be a high-quality shoe; however, there are no 4s available for exchange, so I'll have to wear thick socks.
The shoe gets one star for its appearance and style. They appear to be attractive shoes at first glance. However, the fabric, or whatever the shoe is made of on the inside, is undoubtedly of poor quality, as it emitted a foul odor! Yes, but only with socks (no bare feet allowed). My daughter has tried on a variety of tennis shoes from various manufacturers. This was the first time we'd ever had an experience like this, and she'd previously owned some fantastic Nikes! A quality assurance inspection of the materials in this shoe is required. I'm also not sure where these shoes were kept or who they belonged to, but something doesn't seem right.
Nike garbage fell apart in less than two months and was a complete waste of money.
