No, I don't think so. I'd seen these on other people at the gym and was drawn in by the cool patterns and the fact that they're so wide. Plus, in Texas, you need a hair band; between the sweat and your hair breaking loose from its ponytail and landing in your eyes while you're carrying 65 lbs over your head, it's a must-have. So I paid for one. I was on the verge of purchasing a few, but decided to start small. I'M SO THANKFUL THAT I ONLY PURCHASED ONE. It's fine for stationary exercise, but it's a shambles when it comes to moving around. It's strewn about all over the place. It begins at the front of the head and moves backwards after ten squats, releasing the loose hairs. It'll be gone in about five more squats. When it slides back, it also creates an odd tenting effect. The resources were excellent - That is how the second star was earned - However, it does not stay on, rendering the material and sweat-wicking capabilities useless. I'm afraid I'm going to have to say no.
After a friend highly recommended the brand to me, I had high expectations. Because I have extremely fine hair, I find that this style of headband does not stay on my head for very long. It's one thing to lounge around, but during yoga classes or at work in the medical field, I had to constantly reposition myself. This headband does not have any grippy features to keep it in place. Perhaps it's the shape of my head, or the type of hair I have- Perhaps it is a combination of the two. In any case, I'm not a fan of this headband and rarely use it.
When I went to do my cardio today, however, I noticed that it did a fantastic job of absorbing my sweat. Very cozy and well-fitting. These will be put to good use, so hopefully they will last a long time.
Lightweight and absorbent, these headbands are ideal for everyday use. They collect sweat and keep it from getting into my eyes. They stay put on long runs, aren't too tight, and don't irritate my skin. It was exactly what I was looking for.
They're not thick, but they hold up well and absorb well. I chose the smoke color as a neutral option that would go with as many things as possible. Running, personal training, teaching and practicing yoga, cycling, and simply strolling around have all benefitted from this.
It's a little bit of a shambles. It's not even close to being worth the price of $15. That is undeniably true. It's light and stretchy, and it keeps hair out of the way. This is a $7 item, at the very least. I believe that another company could enter the market and undercut the price while still making a profit. It would be preferable if the material on this headband was thicker.
I ride with a variety of headbands from various manufacturers. These are by far the most effective for keeping your head on your shoulders.
The headband is comfortable to wear during workouts, but it has a purple tint to it (in person) rather than the true grey I expected. Even so, it's a fantastic product that does the job.
