Two Focus masks have come into my possession the first I purchased on its own, and the second came as part of a set, "Cressi Frog Plus Fin Focus Silicone Mask Dry Snorkel Set". The lenses and strap covers of both masks have been replaced with Cressi Optical Lenses and the Strap Covers of both masks have been replaced with Cressi Strap It makes a big difference in wearing and removing the mask every day. Also, as someone preparing for my PADI Open Water Certification, removing and replacing the mask underwater is a required skill, so the last thing you want to do is struggle with the straps. When the straps are in place, simply push on the Velcro points, which are clearly marked by two lines of stitching on the cover. As you will observe the Velcro will automatically fit in the openings of the Mask Straps. It's magic the rest of the time. Having said that, I have attached pictures of both my mask with and without the strap cover.
My girls all have long hair and putting their snorkels on and off can be a challenge. Cressi's mask straps made it incredibly easy for my patients to get on and off, the strap just went over their heads and stayed in place. There was also an excellent selection of colors I was able to pick up all 5 in different hues. As owners, my husband and I were extremely happy with the Cressi strap. As they are now more mature and have graduated from child to youth life jackets, they do not need the crotch straps anymore. Rather than keep them in their original state, I placed them on the back of a non-residential building Masks made by Cressi. Girls with long hair will now find it easier to use the snorkel masks, as the silicone strap usually gets entangled on their hair when trying to put them on. Every time we went to the pool, my girls wore life jackets that had two belts connected from the back bottom of the life jacket to the bottom front of the life jacket. In other words, as I always begin reviews with, this is not a complete review since we haven't yet used the product in water. Let me begin by putting the strap cover over the Cressi Snorkel Freediving Mask CERFMSSF - we can also use these strap covers for other freediving masks and snorkels. I found it to be a perfect fit for the mask strap. My mask will stay on well if it's so easy to remove now that the cover is covering the strap, but what about it if I don't have the cover on it? A great deal of thought went into the design of the cover. There are more than two pieces attached by a single stitch. Their edges are sewn together and they are covered. The only way to tell if the mask will stay on or not is to see how well it stands up to use and whether it will stay on without slipping.
