A "real" steel would be a carbon steel that has not been sharpened. The blade does weigh, and everything is metal, but it does not cut, because it is not sharpened.
There is a blade in there. There is an edge to it, though it's not super sharp.

One of the problems I have with the sword is that it has a dirty blade, and two pieces of the sword were not glued properly, and you can see some glue around the blade.
Due to all the good reviews, I wanted to buy the sword, but there wasn't enough information, so I bought it in hopes it would meet my needs, as in a nice solid sword to practice forms in. Rin Okumura is one of my favorite anime characters of all time, so I wanted to snap this up. Although it isn't even remotely functional, it is nevertheless a good sword. There are some great details in this movie, but the construction is lousy. Upon arrival, the metal fittings on the sheath (sheath) were already loose as well as the blade, which is extremely I really just use it for cosplay and collecting, not as I intended. In spite of the nice weight and solid feel, the blade bent right at the point where it meets the hilt when I swung it all the way. I can bend it back, but I can't use the sword for more than just looking at it. Editing is necessary I was swinging it in the air and the hand guard snapped An integrated tang and rat tail make up the tang. A sword like this can cause a safety hazard. I would not recommend this sword because although it looks nice, the quality is not as good as it could be.
The first reason I picked this one up is the color. I have several nice katanas, but this one is nice because of its As the ribbon was supposed to be blue, I had to replace it since the original arrived with a neon green one. You will also be able to take off the silver pieces. I don't understand it very well - Although it was made, it works well for displays. I was very impressed with the shipping speed.
It is worth getting one yourself (if you haven't already). This replica of a katana fascinated me so much that I even cosplayed with it. Yeah, sure. My mom told me to do this a while ago so I started making paper swords from anime a couple years ago because I wanted one, and then I asked her to do it so, I did it. It was stuck to the oiled blade because the inside of the scabbard had a gel-like substance. I removed it, and the scabbard is now great. This is something I would recommend if you are unsure whether to buy it or not.
The sword is exactly like the kurikira from the anime blue exorcist but it has neon green string, which is not shown in the anime. It took 2 days to arrive after I refunded the order and purchased it again. Shipping and delivery were both concerns, so I refunded.
When the package arrived, the sword's case was broken and some pieces of the sword were missing. I loved this product because I'm a huge fan of Blue Exorcist. While it can be fixed rather easily with super glue, it is really unjust to have broken it in the first place. The sword, however, was one of my favorites.
I'm glad I bought the sword since it is a reasonably good sword. There was just no way I could have predicted that the green string/laces would be a neon green instead of the darker green pictured. On top of that, one of the metal ornaments on the sheath The glue holding it in place wasn't strong enough to keep it in place, so it slides up and down.
The only difference between hers and mine is the color of the string on the cover and handle was to be a darker green instead of.
