I love it! I want to cosplay as a demon slayer, and I need a sword!.
It is super affordable and lightweight to use as a cosplay prop or interior decoration! On receiving Shinobu's sword, I was delighted to find it in perfect condition. My preference for the colors is to have the colors more in line with anime (too green for me), so I repainted the airbrushing on the crossguard and did some more painting on the wrap on the hilt, followed by just a few minor touch-ups. This is a pretty good package out of the box, and it would work perfectly in photos even without my changes!.
Despite the fact that the product looks cool for cosplay, the paint comes off so easily that even gently swinging a sword (slow motion) leaves it behind on another sword (see the picture for a silver paint from one sword that transferred In addition, the paint on the tip of the handle on both swords I received was scratched when they arrived. Furthermore, the sword wiggles and clicks in the sheath while tucked into its sheath.
I feel that the sword is a good deal for what you pay. You can definitely hear it grinding, so make sure that you are careful if you slide it in and out of the Saya portion. I am unsure how well the paint will hold up. The wall has a couple of little specks of paint missing, might need a quick touchup. While at close range you can certainly see it's bamboo wood, in distant views and in pictures it looks almost like real wood, would make a great cosplayer item and it's lightweight and easy to handle. If this was given to a younger child, I wouldn't give it to them, not because the blade is sharp or dangerous (it's very blunt), but because not handling it carefully will definitely cause damage. The only thing you will use it for is either displaying it or taking pictures with it.
It still has a lot of charm I would certainly recommend it, as it shipped very quickly and it will be very important for my cosplay.
This is a super easy fix for us so it's no problem, but spray it with a protectant to keep it looking good.
It was a great surprise to see that these swords were so good quality for the price. My son loves these so much and I'm so pleasantly surprised with the quality. The release of three versions has now happened and he is saving to buy the rest. We highly recommend it!.
The paint on the blade isn't that great, but it can be fixed with painting if you know what you're doing. Both the sheath and handle are made of plastic, which is both durable and lightweight. Although I realize a wooden blade may not be suitable for a prosthesizer, I'd say its worth it Are you secure? However, this is great for photo shoots!.
