This sword is made entirely of PLASTIC.
Yes it is
Yes, it would make a great Halloween costume!
yes. This will work because bucklers specialize in deflection and quick point attacks. I should mention that cold steel also comes with a dagger, waister, and trenchhawk. If you want to practice classic buckler parry and attack, I believe the waister is the way to go. Any one-handed weapon will suffice if that isn't possible.

The third time we used it, it broke. I'm not sure how it broke, but it wasn't a clean break, and my fiance's pinky was broken as a result. No, we didn't swing them hard (and I did win the duel).
It is straightforward and easy to comprehend. It was simple to snap the square tsuba into place. I could practice swordsmanship with it if I wanted, but I bought it for my Psylocke cosplay.
I used this for a Tanjiro cosplay and it worked perfectly with the character's need for a black sword! It lasted the entire con, made it through TSA, and was checked-in without a hitch! for a few plane rides, in a duffle bag! br>The only flaw is that the guard doesn't fit; it looks as if it was designed for a different sword, and it's like trying to fit a triangle block into a square hole. Granted, I made a new one for the purposes of the costume, but if you're planning on sparring with it, that minor flaw could become a major issue. br>Instagram: br>Instagram: br>Instagram @Shmanime @Anime @Anime @Anime @Anime @Anime @Anim.
They're fantastic for what they are. Purchased for the purpose of practicing sword fighting. When bullets run out, you'll need a sword to survive, and knowing how to use one is a must if you want to live. They're also extremely durable. They will not be damaged if you smash them together. I used gorilla glue to secure the pieces in place, which worked out well. If you don't wear gloves, you'll end up like me, with damaged fingers. That's not a joke. If you don't put on gloves, you'll be sorry. My trigger finger continues to be damaged after two weeks. Healing is taking place gradually. I would strongly suggest it.
The blade length is ideal for drawing from a back sheath harness, and the weight is reasonable.
I had my doubts about the product I received at first. It was late and had some minor scratches along the blade when it arrived. It also doesn't come with a sheath or a carrying bag, and I had to add the finger guard separately. br>The sword is light and flexible, and it is made of plastic. br>br>However, I did use it for a few sparring sessions after that. When my opponent shattered the tip of their wood training Boken against my sword, I was surprised and very impressed. br>br>I was surprised and very impressed at this outcome, especially since breaking my opponent's sword meant I had won the match. br>br>I was surprised and very impressed at this outcome, especially since breaking my opponent's sword meant I had won the match. br>br>Would buy again in a heartbeat!.
It arrived in perfect condition, well-made, and long-lasting. This sword was the perfect size for my small hands (I'm 5ft 2in) and after my own touch-ups on the sword, which came out black, everyone thought it was real. As shown in the picture, my sword came with a square tsuba. I'm going to order another one and fix it up as a present for my nephew. After my own touchups and paint job, I took pictures of the sword. BLACK is the color of the sword.
My son enjoys dressing up for fun and dreams of becoming a ninja when he grows up. He wishes he had a real katana, but for obvious safety reasons, this will have to suffice until he is much older. It's not flimsy, but it's extremely durable. If you want to paint it, it could be used for a variety of costumes. It's a perfect match for his other "training"- Weapons with a sense of style or that can be used in a cosplay situation.
