The opposite of being disappointed is being pleasantly surprised. It looks like a good quality product. You have provided good It has nice looking handles that are sturdy and well-built. Four of them have not yet broken since we bought them five months ago. Foam that is hard, pliable, but keeps its shape. The finish is true to color and does not fade, chip, or bubble. Blades aren't damaged! This item is probably best suited for costume or cosplay purposes, but it holds up well for toys too.
As measured with a cheap food scale, this sword weighed 9 lbs. Pictures show a 7 oz tube as opposed to the standard 16 oz container which is almost half full. The water bottle I used in the photo is a 9oz bottle. As the sword is held, it feels heavier in the hand, the blade part much point of the blade and the handle of the sword feel very sturdy and secure in the hand. I had a moment to devote to adding the longer update to this review since I had some time on my hands.
I think the sword I bought is much better than what I expected for the price. The majority of the outfit I was able to put together, but I bought this sword from Amazon, as well as patches and a harness set. We received all of our luggage I watched the anime not to make sure I got the details right, but not to watch it simply to get the costume. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of detail on the sword for the price. I don't feel concerned about my 10 year old using it in sword fights with Nerf swords since it is flexible, but sturdy enough. I should just mention that if you are unfamiliar with the show like I am, you really need two of them to create an entire.

Swords painted this way are very sturdy, and the paint is perfect. A couple chips are visible in the back of the sword, but it is not bad. A foam sword does bend when swung with a lot of force, but it doesn't bend to the extent shown in the picture. However, a little bit of bending is to be expected with these types of swords. This has proven to be an incredibly worthwhile investment for its price, and I look forward to using it to demolish many titans in the future.
It looks a lot better than I had anticipated! The weight of the thing is great, so you don't have to drag it around at conventions!.
