As I was too lazy to complain, I never got my sword, and therefore I cannot utilize it to defend myself against intruders, as it didn't show up.
Not at all. The sword and sheath are all that are necessary. The decoration is not sharpened, so it is not used for cutting.

It seems like the sword is in good shape at first sight. Upon first pulling it out of the scabbard, I noticed the blade was bent to one side. I did not expect expert workmanship, so this was acceptable.
However, the sword did not last for a single day. I had one of the holes for the sash fall off the sword within a couple of hours of wearing it.
Also, the holes for the sash are too low, which makes it hard to wear the sword vertically. In the case that you wish to hang it on a wall, that is fine. Whether you desire to use it for cosplay or in any other regard, I would suggest that.
It's far better than expected at the price.
Really sturdy, has a nice weight, it shipped super quick, the colors are right on the original design (except maybe the strap could be a bit browner) and it just looks lovely. It is a highly recommended purchase if you like to cosplay and or collect props. This is not a really high-end sword meant for fighting, but it's believable replica to show off. It's not meant to be a sword for fighting, but it is enough to serve it's purpose. The one issue I had was that the ring on mine was loose and it popped off. I contacted the seller who will hopefully be able to fix the problem Apart from that, I am very happy with it and am very pleased with my purchase. If I manage to get mine fixed, I might even give 5 stars since I cannot find a single complaint.
As a result of getting two of these as gifts for Christmas, I'm extremely disappointed even though I wasn't expecting much for the price. I have both blades bent and the bottom of the sheath on both of them as well as the piece on the hilt fell off. On top of that the guards do not align with either blades. I do not recommend this product to anyone. The only option I would consider would be to give 0 stars.
It does get some sticky gel from the sheath, but overall it is a very well made sword. It doesn't impact its function particularly negatively.
The blade was dirty and sticky when I received it, so it didn't really do its job. The sword would sit wrong with the straps adjusted so that with the sword in it would fall sideways, not sitting aligned with the rest of the sword.
You've done a good job. A break will not occur under any pressure. The bevel is not good. This would not be a purchase I would recommend or buy again. I actually thought that was kind of fun when I saw it for the first time.
