When it comes to my muay thai gear, I want it to be as accurate as possible. To begin with, I was unaware that skintex leather is a synthetic material. Two, although the kickshield is designed in Thailand, it is manufactured in China. Despite their shady advertising, they have a fantastic product!! If you buy this kickshield, the tag on it will say exactly what I said.

Kick shield of excellent quality

When it was on sale, I grabbed it. It's only been a few months since I've used it, but it seems to be working well, and the shield is holding up to weekly training.
