I use them for my martial arts drills because they are the perfect size. Kicks and strikes are a breeze with this weapon.
This is a five-strap bag, and you should never buy a martial arts bag without five straps. You can put your arm through two on the sides, one up top, and two in the back. The straps are plenty wide; whoever claimed they couldn't get their arm through is clearly not of average size; I'm a 6 foot muscular male, and it fits perfectly. The top strap is on top of the bag rather than behind it, as it should be for a flat bag so you can angle it forward a little more for kicking. The top strap can be used to hang it against a wall as a punching bag, or the side straps can be used to wrap it around a tree or pillar.
The back straps run vertically (parallel) down the long side - from top to bottom I'd show you if I could just upload a picture!
Yes. There are two holding straps on the back in the middle of the pad, as well as one on each side and on top. I bought this pad over a year ago and use it with adults who wear sneakers on a regular basis. It would be like new if I could just clean the scuff marks off the front. This is a fantastic thought pad, and I'm glad I purchased it.

I'm a certified instructor who has worked with Olympic-caliber athletes. Despite the fact that I believe this to be a good shield for the majority of people, I would not purchase it again. Heavy kicks will get through the shield. br>br>If you have heavy kicks, they will get through the shield. There should be no problem if the person holding is on your level. It will be felt by the person holding it if they are not as experienced. Younger children are unlikely to mind if you hold for them. br>br>The content is only adequate. It's fine if you're kicking hard, especially with your shins, but if you're training for speed and using your instep, I got canvas burn. It's not a major issue, but it's worth noting. br>br>The rectangle is the shape. There are no angles or curves, so you should know what you like. Depending on their personal style, some people prefer a curve or an angle. br>br>Right now, I'm primarily using it to instruct my children. It is effective and good in this capacity.
oh my! Where do I begin with how wrong this was? The back straps were not even the same length. The bag had markings where the straps should have been sewn, but they weren't even close to being sewn, indicating that the bag was of poor quality. I was surprised to learn that Everlasting sells such low-quality merchandise!.
The kick pad earns four stars almost entirely on the basis of its value rather than its quality. However, instead of $40, you'll spend $70 on a much higher-quality kick pad. You may desire something better in the future, but I doubt you will be disappointed if you purchase this for your 7-year-old. 12 year old (well, your kid will want to do flying side kicks into you while you're holding it, so that part may not be so appealing). Advantages: br>br> br>The pad measures 15" x 25"br>It is very thick at 5"br>At 52 oz, it is very light and maneuverable for an adult. A carton of orange juice contains approximately 59 ounces. br>The straps are reasonably well stitched on. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>The outer shell is tough enough for kids, but it wouldn't stand up to a lot of adult kicking. br>The back straps are too tight, and you can't get your forearm into it (or at least I couldn't). br>br>Overall: br>Great value for kids up to middle school, but not so much for high school boys (but then again, what does?).
This is a flat shield made of the same material that the water-resistant suits are made of. These are the materials used to make filled punching bags. It's made of smooth punching bag material, so you won't bleed as much if you don't wear gloves. Flat is also better for punching, so it functions as a portable punching bag, whereas curved ones can cause wrist injuries if used for punching. For a compact punching bag, tie it around a tree or pillar using the side straps, or hang it from an eye hook on a wall using the top strap, etc. It can also be used as a kick shield by simply tilting it in the desired direction. Because it's thick and not as dense as the denser ones, the impact will be more pillowey, so you won't absorb as much with your body, but you'll probably bounce back a little more. The straps are simply nylon straps, which are very durable but not as comfortable as the padded handles. If you'll be teaching people how to punch and don't have access to a heavy bag, this is the best option over curved shields.
So far, it's working well and is large enough to act as a shield. Although the material does not appear to be leather, it does appear to be durable.
The handles are well-made and well-attached. I have five handles on my body. two on the back, and one on the top. It's ideal for everyday punches and kicks, whether they're hard or light. My son and I are in an MMA class, and we use this to practice; we are currently collecting items for an MMA room, and this fits in perfectly with our other items. It's a little difficult to do with bare hands, but gloves make it much easier. The shape, the way it's put together, the handles, and the thickness are all things I admire. I'm glad I came across this when I was looking for strike shields. LOVE IT. RECOMMENDATION. I'd purchase it again.
I haven't thrown as many kicks and punches into this bag as I would like, but it has held up well with no tears or scratches for what I have thrown. I've thrown some heavy hits and kicks, so the bag is still in good shape. It has handles on the top, sides, and back to make it a typical "sheild. "br>br>It does feel like it will last a long time and I will defiantly earn what I paid for it over time. br>br>It has handles on the top, sides, and back to make it a typical "sheild. " While holding the bag on either side, there is enough space between the meat and the handles to avoid being hit, and there was no feeling of contact or pain when being hit with your hand and arm behind the bag.
I'd buy it again because it's a great strike shield for the price. The back of the weapon has two handles that allow it to be used in a variety of positions and strike types. br>br>This is a good fit for our elementary school. I'd feel at ease using it with school-aged children. Adults in command who aren't looking to thrash their training partner too badly. A cage fight for heavyweights Fighter going 100% would likely need to invest in something different. Designed to withstand the harshest of conditions. br>br>An excellent purchase that I would make again!.
