Questions & Answers
It's a pair of them.
Hello, these are made of leather.
Elbows aren't an issue at all. A heavier pad may be beneficial for some of the stronger kicks. Despite this, the pads are still in good condition.
No, it's not recommended; it would take as much time, effort, and money as purchasing a wall mount bag; they're designed to be held by a pad holder.

After two months, the strap on my product pulled away from the pad, indicating a flaw. It had only been used about 6 times before that. Although the return window has passed, they should send me a replacement for the price I paid for the pads. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>br>I contacted the company, and they were extremely helpful. They requested a photo of the defect and promptly sent me a replacement, despite the fact that the return window had passed. I raised my rating to reflect the excellent customer service I received.
Only novices should use these pads. These aren't the pads for hard-hitting kickers. br>br>These pads are extremely lightweight. It allows for quick padwork, but a hard teep or roundhouse (I'm a heavyweight) will hurt. They're also a little smaller than most pads I've worked with, so double-check that you're on the right track! Aside from that, they're very useful pads that will suit the majority of users.
Much lighter than some of the gym pads, which made it easier for me to hold the pads. The disadvantage appears to be a lack of mass to absorb the kick's momentum. I'd landed on my feet after powerful kicks sent the pads flying back at me. It's something that can be fixed with better padding technique, but if I lose focus, the pads continue to fly back at me. I don't blame the pads because that's just physics; they'll have to make the pads intentionally heavier to absorb the momentum better. Shocks are handled admirably by the pads. I haven't experienced any arm pain as a result of catching punches or kicks yet.
This is a real bummer because I own all of their products, but as I use them, I'm noticing quality issues. The stitching on these pads, in particular, is coming undone after only two months of use. I can't tell you how much I liked these because they seemed sturdy and the price was great, plus I liked the brand; I'm hoping I got a defective pair, but I've also had problems with their wraps and chin guards, so I'm not sure. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Sanabul was contacted, but they were unable to assist because this was normal wear and tear. I explained that stitching coming off within two months of using them as intended should not be considered a quality standard, but they were unhelpful. Whatever you want to make of it. These are only intended for occasional use. br>br> Your forearms will take a beating if you use this with strong kickers, which I like because it's good conditioning for when you step into the ring and have to take some kicks; I suggest you look elsewhere if you're not interested in conditioning your forearms.
The material is of high quality, and the impact absorption is exceptional. I wouldn't expect a complaint from the striker. The surface is dense but forgiving, allowing kickers to go all out. The "velcro" appears to be of good quality, as does the stitching. The only thing I'm not sure about is how thin the straps' loops are. They don't appear to be bending or deforming at the moment, but I'm taking care not to pull too hard on the arm straps when latching them. To be clear, this isn't a problem right now; I'm just noting it. Overall, they're of good quality, straightforward, and effective, which is exactly what you'd expect at this price.
I believe the foam density is a little lower than in more expensive pads. My only criticism is that the handle isn't quite large enough for a full grip during some drills. Overall, these pads are excellent value for money. br>Revised for excellent customer service: I originally gave these pads three stars because of the reasons stated above. I've had the pads for a couple of months and they're still in great shape. I was contacted by the seller, who offered to send me a new and free set of replacement pads if I was unhappy with the product; however, I am not unhappy with the product and have declined the free set of pads; however, I am revising my review to 5 stars because I appreciate customer service that goes above and beyond.
Nevertheless, it completes the task! This is a good product. However, they aren't as heavy as they appear in the photos, which means they're a little stiff and you'll feel the punches/kicks a little more than with top-shelf brands. But they do the job, and holding these for my training partners isn't too bad. I'm sure I'll be using these for the next couple of years. They won't last as long as top-shelf brands, but FOR THE PRICE, THESE WILL DO THE JOB.
So, now that I've had the product for a while, I have to agree with other reviews that these pads aren't ideal for heavy kickers. They're good for the money and do the job, but bigger guys will take a beating on your forearms. Still, they're a good choice for beginner pads! br>br>Thus far, everything has gone well. My children have already had a chance to punch and kick the pads, and they are very pleased with them. Good protection, though I think I need to work on properly holding them so the kicks don't hurt my arms. The stitching is excellent, as is the quality. I'm looking forward to many more sessions with you!.
