Selected User Reviews For Hayabusa PTS 3 Focus Mitts Pair - Black, Micro
They're great, they fit great, they're very comfortable, they're adjustable around your waist, they're durable, easy to clean, they don't hurt y, they stay on, they don't come off when in use until you take them off, they're great for the price, I used them in a doxing class and didn't feel anything, they're perfect layers, they protect my hand and wrist, and they don't come off either. I bought a lot of them and they keep falling off. Adjust it, fix it, fix it. I'm tired of it. You don't have to do anything with these because they stay on until you take them off(get price). Because I purchased so many when I could have saved money if I had just purchased this brand. This was well worth the money, and I would recommend it. I recently purchased them, and I will keep you updated on my progress.
The reviewer is a strong woman who has used a variety of mits over the course of two years. br>br>Synthetic materials are not as "pretty" as leather, but the quality appears to be good. br>br>My hands are thick and strong (8 ring size), but my fingers are short. br>br> br>br>Fit is better than any other pair of mitts I've tried. I don't have to stop and reposition because I can "hold onto these" with stubby fingers and sweaty wrapped hands. br>br>The holder's small profile and light weight allow him to move quickly and without becoming fatigued. It provides less defense against sloppy strikers, however. glancing off the side or striking the wrist of the holder. br>br>Strike surface is unique - Rather than being a pad, it's more like a hollow drum pocket. As a result, when properly struck, it produces a distinct pop (rather than a smack). Both the holder and the striker benefit from its shock absorption.
I'd been looking for a good pair of air punch mitts for a while, so I was excited to see that Hayabusa had some. br>br>I expected it to be a little larger, as most air mitts I've seen are; perhaps I should've done more research on the dimensions. I was hoping to get some kicks out of them as well. br>br>I wouldn't call them micro mitts, but they are smaller than the other focus mitts I use on a regular basis. Having said that, Hayabusa is an excellent brand with excellent quality and design. When a solid punch is landed, I enjoy the sound the air pocket makes. They are easier to transport because of their smaller size.
These are extremely effective. They're well-made and have a good amount of impact absorption. They're also the exact size you'd expect, and they're well-fitting. I'm not sure how they compare to leather mitts, which are likely 30 percent more expensive, but these mitts appear to be very durable.
For boxing training, this is one of the best hand mitts I've ever used. I have 45 years of boxing experience and have used every piece of boxing equipment available, and these Hayabusa mitts are a five-star product.
The air pocket gives a nice pop and feedback when holding the pads, and it feels great in your hands. However, while these are the nicest mitts I've ever caught with, if you're on a budget, they might not be worth the extra money.
It's a win-win situation for both partners. I love everything Hayabusa, and this is the perfect shape for just enough give.
I train my clients with three different mitts/focus pads, and my Hayabusa outperforms them all!.
