I have been teaching martial arts for 25 years and have never had an issue with Gigi sizes before this thing came in. I took the bag out and it looked like it had already been returned and someone put a junior size 2 in an adult bag.

This gi was bought as part of my Halloween To give you a sense of my size, I am 5' 6", 191 pounds, and wear a women's size 12. It was a size 6 that I purchased. Neither the top nor the bottom crosses my torso all the way through. There is a little mismatch between the size and the description. If you are an adult I would suggest sizing up. Aside from that, it is a good set.

As much as we wanted a size 3, our boy does not wear one that small in that Gi that we have from his dojo, so we wanted this one in a size 4. Size 3 of another brand fit me just fine. The brand runs small, so I believe this is the case. It was returned to us. Although the quality seemed good, the price was reasonable.
I wanted it just like that. Exactly what I wanted for the samurai costume my husband was wearing. A size 6 fit him perfectly. He is 6ft, weighs 170lbs, and is six foot tall. It's a very comfortable fit for him. Red color comes across as accurate in the images, and the material feels good. As I have never used it for karate, I cannot speak to how it holds up, but it is well made, so I'd imagine it would be okay for that purpose.
