This was perfect for the costume I was making, but it had to be shrunk significantly. The size surprised me because it was large, but I needed an extra large, so I believe this set was designed for someone much bigger than me. I required an extra large, but I suppose a large would suffice.
My new favorite gi is this one. Although the legs and arms shrank significantly in the wash, this was ideal for me because I usually have to hem my uniforms. This is the first one that I was able to shrink down to the point where I didn't need to hem. It feels like you're wearing pajamas because it's so soft and comfortable. The only disadvantage is that it gets hot, so I'll probably only wear it in the winter. I intend to purchase a second one in the near future.
Over the years (I've been training for over 30 years), I've experimented with a number of different uniforms. I tried it out and it's a lot of fun to use. Because I prefer 100% cotton, I strongly recommend this uniform and will most likely order my next batch from this vendor.
The size was a tad on the large side. It was a huge burden. The size was a tad on the large side. However, I purchased it with the expectation of having it tailored. Legs were a little too long for my liking. The top is a little too big. But that's what happens when you buy something without trying it on first.
I like how the waistband has elastic, which keeps me from having to retie my sister's pants all the time!.
It is more comfortable and attractive than the cheap uniforms.
Really nice gi, I ordered the wrong size and the seller was very nice and accommodating in exchanging for a smaller size. I'm planning on purchasing a few more in the near future.
