I'd double-check the size chart, but my 7-year-old daughter can wear a small. My 9-year-old can also wear it, but the extra padding in the medium allows for growth. The dial adjuster, as well as the flip fold padding, are both beneficial.

It's been two years since I've had mine. If it's still made the same way, the visor won't come off.

This helmet was extremely helpful when I was relearning how to ride as an adult. Because my horse is so inexperienced, I was thrown at least a half-dozen times. When I was racing a friend, his horse abruptly cut to the left, causing my horse to do the same, this helmet saved my life. My horse stepped on me after I landed on my head. My concussion was severe. If I hadn't been wearing my helmet, the weight of the horse stepping on my head would have crushed my skull. The helmet did not dent as a result of the impact, and it is extremely durable and simple to put on. It is something I strongly suggest.
The mediums seemed to work well for the majority of people, and I don't have an abnormally large or small head to begin with! I'm about 5'10" tall and weigh about 125 pounds. In terms of hat sizes, a size 7 is appropriate. I was prepared to return or exchange for a smaller or larger size, but thankfully, the medium fit perfectly! I tried to follow the measurements exactly, but in the end, I just made it up as I went along! br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b I don't have to use the flip-flop system because the fit system allows me to adjust for a snug fit. I'm not familiar with the fold system, so I can't say how well it works or doesn't. It's simply a one-stop shop for everything. Excellent fit all-around! It's light and airy, and it's very comfortable. It's light and, despite the fact that it's winter, it breathes well while riding. I'm hoping it will keep my head cool during the hot summer months! This is the first riding helmet I've owned since I was a child (no joke), and I'm very pleased with it. I got my kids Ovation helmets, which are also good, but I've heard the Troxels are even better. notch. You have to pay a little more for them, but it's well worth it! br>Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase!.
For years, I've been riding in Troxel helmets. a minimum of 10 When I was thrown from my horse once, my helmet took the brunt of the impact and broke rather than my head! As a result, when I put this helmet on, I was very disappointed. Troxel appears to have altered the way the straps on the inside of the helmet are attached. The attached strap presses so hard against my temple that it causes me to get a headache. I even tried increasing the padding and then switching to a larger size, but it didn't work. I compared it to an old Troxel that I still have. They are, indeed, built differently, with the strap attached in a way that makes it more visible at the point of attachment. As a result, I had to return this lovely but uncomfortable helmet and replace it with one from a different manufacturer.
This was exactly what I expected and arrived extremely quickly! (I ordered on a Friday evening and received the following Monday. ) ) This is a fantastic price, as I believe the manufacturer wanted a few dollars more for it, and the XS fits my two children perfectly. 5 years old is the perfect age! I'm also relieved to know she has some room to grow, which means I won't have to rush out and buy another when she hits her next growth spurt. I chose this style because I figured the vents would keep her head from becoming too hot and her refusing to wear it. Hopefully, she will never put this to its full potential, but if she does, I know I can trust this brand.
it is well ventilated It's extremely comfortable and well-designed. it is well ventilated I've had COs for the better part of a decade, but I needed a replacement quickly because my previous CO had become too large after a haircut. Normally, I wear my hair up under my helmet, but I've recently decided that this isn't the safest option, and that if I don't have long hair, my helmet is too big. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a helmet I'd only wear at home, so I went with this one, and I'm glad I did. Tucked away, safe, and at ease. There are no issues. I also appreciate the noticeable breeze, which keeps my head much cooler than my CO ever did. br>br>The only oddity is that the logo is slightly off-kilter. center, and it's possible that the helmet itself is crooked, or that my head is crooked, but I don't mind for the price and the fit.
I've been in three serious falls, all of which involved my head. There were no concussions, and there were no soft spots in the helmet. The adjustable padded helmet liner on the inside, as well as the adjustable band with lock rotation in the back, ensure a secure but comfortable fit for everyone!.
It's a nice fit, but I wish they offered an XL in this style like they do in other models. To fit the helmet on my head, I have to fully open the size adjuster until it comes out of the helmet. But it works fine that way, and the manufacturer says it's still safe. I also like how this helmet isn't as big as some of the others and appears to be much more practical. I also tried a Troxel Spirit, which was massive and inconvenient. Instead, I returned to get a second one for my son. (Even though he is 11 and has a large head, this fits him in size Large. ).
It's a great fit, and I like how the dial adjusts and sits at the base of my skull. The color is stunning. Troxels have always been a favorite of mine, and they continue to improve. (I'm 74. NRS (National Reining Supply) provided this one. It's a great outfit, and I'm glad they're now affiliated with Amazon.
