How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Leg stability is enhanced by the wide body design.
Give the feeling that there are no leather areas under the leg by smoothing over the flap.
To minimize bulk under saddle skirts, the end portions are made of thin soft calf skin wrapped around a nylon core.
Dressage and jump saddles are designed specifically to fit this size.

Questions & Answers

Do you have slim leathers or thick, bulky leather? How thick are the leathers (not their width)?

About four millimeters of leather extend all the way to the edges. A lower profile calf is wrapped around a nylon webbing as the remaining portion. In order to achieve a low profile, they are designed accordingly.

How do they affect your saddle? Do they scratch or rub it?

There is no rubbing of the saddle due to them. In my experience, this has not been the case. These stirrup leathers surprised me with how much I like them.

When comparing jump leathers to dressage leathers, how are they different?

It is only the length of the wide portions of the leathers that are different. During the dressage wide portion, the width is 18" and during the jump wide portion, it is 16". There is a difference of 5" in the flap length between the types of saddles.

Can you recommend a length that would be best for my height of 5'8?

In general, you should use 60" for dressage and 54" for jumping if you are It depends on the riding style and saddle type how the saddle should be sized, so these are just suggestions.

It's true that these are as good as everyone says! It was a bit skeptic when I first obtained these
5/5

However, so many people have reviewed and highly recommended them that I had to give them a It doesn't seem that these saddles will have that much of an impact on me since I already have a magical cross country saddle. But your leg thinks otherwise. Not at all. Make a move. After riding and eventing for more than 30 years, I didn't think much could be done to improve the security of my lower leg, but I certainly noticed a difference when I improved my lower leg. The difference is something I've noticed myself, as has my fiance, who has only been eventing for about five years. The shoes I bought for my dressage saddle are so good that I got another pair.

This is a perfect set of stirrups for your western endurance saddle
5/5

They were very supportive and of a great quality. Your horse feels great on these and has the opportunity to get extremely close to you. One problem is that it takes too long to read them. If they sell them in 48 I would be happy to buy another set in black. My girth is also something I am interested in trying. The product is of wonderful quality and the company is thoughtful.

I needed exactly what you provided
5/5

The leg on my left side has always been unstable to me. By having a wider leather, there is more contact area between my leg and the air, which makes my flight more secure. It was immediately noticeable to me that there had been a change.

The leather is fine
4/5

Leathers of good quality. The saddle fit girths I have been riding in for years are total saddle fit products. I see that the quality of the leather on these leathers isn't as good as the quality of the girth leather. It hasn't stretched out, and I don't notice much of a difference in stability from a regular leather, but I ride several horses daily. When it's time for a new one, I probably won't buy it. I still love TSF girths!.

Definitely one of my favorite things
5/5

This is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Jeans are no longer a problem for me when I ride. Wear whatever you want, whether it is yoga pants or breeches or tights. It is not necessary to wear half chaps or tall boots.

Contributes to the success of the project
5/5

My favorite part of the leathers is their texture. In addition to adding stability, they help me build strength back up as I begin to get back into riding. The leather was not the best quality, but they oiled up well and became softer and more comfortable with time. I like my purchase even though I have to admit they are very expensive for what they are.

A better place to put the legs
5/5

As a hunter rider, I have always had issues with my legs creeping forward. By using wider leathers than the ones I was using, I am better able to maintain steady balance and my legs have fallen into place in the right places for me. You might consider these if your legs are pushing forward all the time! I highly recommend!.
