It would have been possible for me to suffer serious injuries. This is a bad product! Don't buy it! As a result of the leather snapping on my horse, I got thrown from it. The quality of the products is not good. It would have been possible for me to suffer serious injuries. It was lucky for me not to be. They were 2 months old when they were.
These leathers are stiffer than I'm used to, but they're still good quality for the price paid, so I would normally give them a 4 or 5 out of 5. My only complaint is that the long size (160 cm) I purchased was only punched 12 inches, and I would have expected them to be at least 18 inches in order to cover riders of all sizes. My height is 6 feet and my weight is 240 pounds They are still an inch too long up. As such, they will need to be modified. Even though I could have purchased a shorter pair, it wasn't my goal to purchase a pair that was too short. APRIL 2018 UPDATE This is what I decided to use as Neck Straps, and they are AMAZING! As I adjusted one full out and stored it on a 17H draft cross, I secured the loose end and near the buckle with rubber bands and covered the buckle and overhanging strap with painters tape (to provide some padding and to facilitate removal). The 6 other parts of the frame were made shorter for a smaller horse.
Item came as described. The quality appears to be good for the price, even though we have not used them yet.

The purchase was excellent! It was a pleasure to work with these leathers. Despite the color being exact and the strength being strong, it did not deteriorate easily. It's hard for me to know what other people have experienced. Yet the product was well made, stitched well, and excellent in all respects.
As far as saddle leathers go these appear to be good quality for the price. My only experience with them was riding them twice, but they look like they should last. In order to keep them supple, I recommend you wash them after riding with a conditioner to replenish them.
Leathers for a secondary saddle that I use for my pony were purchased from this store. It is comfortable to get on and off the saddle due to its soft leather. The quality of these leathers is pretty good for a cheap item and I appreciate that the numbers can be read easily. They are someone I would recommend.
I received my order within 24 hours. It matches the brown of my vintage saddle perfectly, and the leather is of good quality.
