The bit ends are 17" back on these reins. For a great feel and a classic look, the leather edges have been smoothed and darkened. 5/8" x 8' in size
inch approx. half.
Yes, I believe it will happen. My horse is a Missouri Fox Trotter, and although her head isn't particularly large, I still have plenty of strap on both sides. It's a lovely piece of equipment.
Because this is a horse, not a draft horse, the answer is almost certainly no.

This is a lovely bridle, but there are a few details that I would change. To begin with, the Chicago screws used to secure a bit may be removed. When using the bridle, it's difficult to use, and they can become loose. Second, on the heads of my two Arabian horses, the band across the horse's forehead is stiff and protrudes excessively. On the other hand, other bridles do not do this. I believe it's because the wider part stiffens it. It's also pricey, but if you like the way it looks, go for it. It's well-made and attractive. That is why I rated it four out of five stars. If the screws had not been on it, I would have given it five stars and kept it. The bit attachment area will need buckles or ties. I gave it back to you.
Beautiful bridle, I loved how it highlighted my Arabian horse's head, excellent quality, would recommend.
This is a very attractive headstall. On my black MFT, it looks fantastic. I bought reins as well, but I have yet to use them. The leather on the headstall is firm but not rigid. With use, it will become more pliable. I'm crossing my fingers that it will last.
I own a 16-horse quarter horse gelding. Because of his size, he has been mistaken for a stallion several times, which suits him perfectly, but may not suit a draft or larger horse.
I really like how this looks on my buckskin, but be aware that if you have a big blocky horse, the tether straps will not be long enough (Weaver has made them shorter for some reason). I had to purchase a couple of clack leather curb straps in order to make it long enough for my horse, who is quite large. Would most likely fit a typical horse perfectly:.
Every time I put this headstall on my horse, I get compliments. So far, it has held up well.
This collection is fantastic, but the reigns are extremely long.
The design is well-made and straightforward. On my black TWH, it looks fantastic.
