Weaver Leather Round Cotton Lunge Line

It lasts a very long time! For my first horse 20 years ago, I purchased one of these lunge lines. It was primarily used as a tie-in item for me. After 20 years of near-constant grazing, I decided to put out a rope to allow my horse to graze in the yard. Every summer, after years of daily use for horse grazing, the snap finally gave way. The rope itself was starting to look tattered and worn out, despite the fact that it was still functional and in one piece. As a result, I made the decision to swap it out. The second lunge line is constructed in the same manner as the first. It'll keep me going for another two decades.

I bought it to replace a broken, poor-quality lunge rope, and it's exactly what I needed. It's a thick rope that's easy to grip but isn't stiff. When I want it to be floppy and pliable, I can use it with my Blocker Tire Ring, which makes training so much easier with a 25' thick rope vs. a 12-foot lead rope with a slick surface So far, it appears to be sturdy enough, and it has held up well even when horses have pulled back on it while tied to the tie ring.

I've used this for lunging, but not on a small horse or a light breed. It has a nice rope feel to it, but it is still lightweight in my opinion. But I bought it to use as a loading aid, so I could click it to the horse and pull it through the window. That is exactly what I was looking for, and it works beautifully. It's of good quality, and it's comfortable to hold. This is one of my favorites.

This is an excellent item - However, I specifically requested BLUE/PURPLE/HURRICANE BLUE for the PURPLE. The PURPLE, on the other hand, is unmistakably pink. or fuchsiabr> The quality is good, but if you want purple, you'll have to wait a while. It's not the same hue as the image. But - With the exception of the holiday, it arrived on time with PRIME. And it won't matter what color it is to the horses.

I like cotton lines, but in the past I had thin ones that were difficult to use because they were too light and would flop around all the time. With everything going on around us, this has a slight weight to it, but it's not at all heavy.

We needed an extra lunge line that could be used by both my granddaughter and me. Fits both of our hands comfortably, and it's simple to maintain a consistent drip on the line.

Apart from the 10 minute unraveling time, this is a good lunge line because it will not knot like the others. It's a little big to store, but it's comfortable to hold.
