My giant dog, moose, likes it a lot
4/5

I have a rescue dog who is a mix of German shepherd and other breeds. He weighs 110 pounds at the age of eight months. He's a puppy who arrived at my house with no manners. He's in his adolescent years, so letting him out the fence with my other WELL-TRAINED dogs to explore the forest is risky. I bought a lunge line for him because he follows a deer as far as it runs, and I didn't want to keep him in the fence while the rest of us walked the property. He'll have 25 feet to "roam" but won't be able to escape. This one is a little lighter than the ones I used on my horses, which I don't like, but the end stop has been fantastic. If I let go of the lead, I can count on it to stop him. It becomes tangled in something and causes him to come to a halt. I wouldn't use this on a horse because it's too flimsy, but I do use it on a dog, so there you go. I use this on a daily basis, so it mostly meets my needs. The clip is extremely strong, and I have no concerns about it failing. In addition, it's a good deal. Overall, I'm happy with it as a tool for training my dog. For lunging my horse, I'd like something a little more sturdy.

Durable and long-lasting - However, I recommend wearing gloves
5/5

Two of these are in my possession - One has a chain attached to it, and the other does not. I've had one for five years and it's still going strong after a lot of use and a sassy horse. If you have a horse that likes to buck or pull away from the lunge line, I recommend wearing riding gloves because I've had some rips from being caught off guard by my horse on bad days. It's not a problem at all on calm days. This type is my favorite because it's easy to hold and gather in small hands.

To work with, it's too rough, cumbersome, and "Tough"! This seemed like a good lunge line to me, but I was mistaken
3/5

The color and the latch are the only features that appeal to me. The cord itself is extremely rough and difficult to work with. I had to remove the plastic "weight/stopper" at the end of the line because it was too heavy to swing with it on and the line was far too long to hold it at the actual stopper (while using a lunging whip in the other hand). I used it without the stopper for a while and it was ridiculous swinging this line to get my horse to move. The line isn't swinging straight; instead, it's trying to catch up and form an arch. This is the first time I've ever had a line do something like this. Meanwhile, because the terrain is so rough, you'll end up with raw hands if you don't wear gloves. I also don't like wearing gloves when teaching a horse to respond to visual cues.

Snapping is a difficult task
3/5

I really liked how this turned out. It was extremely sturdy, and the length and width were just right. I had a problem with the snap being too stiff and difficult to open. That was the sole reason I returned it.

Excellent, long-lasting quality for the price
5/5

The video is quite lengthy. When used with a horse who likes to test the lunge line from time to time, this is reassuring. When the line is not used to its full length, the rubber disc at the end provides comfort and prevents the line from tangling.

I'm completely content
5/5

Love the high quality; I use it with my GSD and it works great; he doesn't mind at all. At one year, he weighed around 115 pounds, so I'm glad I got him.

Thank you for a fantastic product; this is my second purchase
5/5

In the lunge ring, I used to put them on my horses. When I take my dog for a walk, I now use them on him. They have a lot of power and require a lot of leadership. This is ideal because they can run with the extra length.
