This is the perfect bear bag line. The texture is slick, so it won't scratch the bark of trees, and there's no resistance like I've seen with other cordage. This product is both lightweight and durable, and it can be used in a variety of ways by backpackers looking to reduce their weight.
This line is used to set ropes over tree branches with a "big shot" sling shot. For that, it's fine. I wish it were a little more flexible so that it could be wound into a 5 gallon bucket for non-commercial use. tangled unwinding in the middle of a shoot.
I use it to make whoopie slings and infinite loops in hammock setups. When I was camping, I used it as a clothesline.
There hasn't been any stretching that I've noticed. With it, I also created a gear line. Even at night, the color is very noticeable. The only drawback is that I missed the line with the reflective strips, which is entirely my fault.
Our amateur radio antenna project went off without a hitch.
It was a game changer when I combined it with a weaver throw weight. This stuff flies through the air like a bird. It did not kink or tangle in any way for me. It also appears to be quite powerful!.
I've had no problems with it as a throw line for tree work.
This is a fantastic line with a lot of power.
