The chain is well made and very nice. There is only one thing I would like to see in the 30 inch version.
It is always a good idea to have these on hand. Because they are so great, they are constantly stolen from other people. If your horse behaves himself on a day other than in the barn, you can attach them to a lead rope for days when they are unruly, and you can remove them when they are good. To keep one handy at all times, I always carry one with me.
It's just a brass shank, it's not too much to say. There is no question I like it and my horse respects it, so rarely do I use it. A quality product from start to finish. The strongest points are all strong. Sharp edges are not present. I am just barely able to fit my draft with 30".
A saddle horse whose big neck and butt learned to wrench a line out of my hand if he drifted to the right while I was working from the left. The chain pulls his big butt and neck around Now, we can move on to something better.
This is a nice and solid product. A 11h Welsh/Shetland cross should be able to wear this shortest coat.
The chain is made from brass so it will not.
Heavily laden and nice to handle.
It works as it should. I used it for my miniature horse, which is just the right length.
