Both bars appear to be movable, in my opinion. Only the lower one has ever been changed by me.

I bought this barre to go with a Harlequin Marley ballet floor so that I could do professional-level work on a daily basis. While our studios are closed due to the pandemic, you can take a level class. It's ideal for what I'm looking for. br>br>Packaging is a term used to describe the process of putting together a product. The barre arrived in a corrugated paper carton measuring 46" x 7" (in my case via USPS). 5" x 4. 5". It was packed tightly and efficiently, with each steel tube individually encased in a bubble-wrapped bag. Protect the painted finish with a wrap sleeve. br>br>Assembly (br>br>Assembly (br>assembly (assembly Although there is an instruction sheet included, it appears that the narrative was written in a language other than English, and the instructions aren't entirely clear. Fortunately, the assembly isn't difficult, and the instructions on the sheet are clear enough. The instructions include a support email address and phone number, both of which are in Chinese. br>br>Here are some assembly tips: br>br>I recommend laying out the tubing and clamp pieces on the floor in the same order as they will be in after assembly. Before you begin assembling anything, decide which way you want the clamp screws to face. For example, I chose to have the clamp screws on the base face the outside, while all of the other clamp screws (holding the crossmembers) face the working side; one of the base tubes has a cautionary label (with the same contact information as the instructions); and one of the upright posts has the PreGymnastic name in large letters. Choose a location for them to appear. Caution: br>br> For the barre to be perfectly stable, the floor pads on each end of the base tubes must be level with one another. Furthermore, once the pads are installed, they will not rotate in any way, making a misalignment difficult to correct. I installed mine slightly off-kilter at first, and had to remove one pad from each base tube and reinstall it with patience (and a stream of very hot water). br>br>There are two cross barres, one of which has a padded sleeve in the middle (and the only one, despite some of the photos). This sleeve has been pre-washed. installed, and it's not easy to get rid of (I'm not sure if sliding it off is an option). I installed the crossmember with the sleeve in the lower position (and use it more as a handle to carry the barre, though I have found it to be a nice support for deep lunges) because I wanted the top barre to be smooth for its entire length. Metal spiral inserts are embedded in the plastic clamp housings of the clamps. It's critical to firmly tighten the clamps, but not to overtighten them. tighten them up (if they're a little loose). If you tighten them any further, the metal insert will be stripped from the plastic housing). br>br>While not all of the barres I looked at on Amazon had an adjustable top barre, the PreGymnastic's top barre is fully adjustable in height (the maximum height is 46"). For me, adjustability is a must-have feature (and a welcome upgrade from our studio barres). br>br>When in use, this bar is incredibly sturdy. In my experience, it simply does not move (and is a significant improvement over the PVC pipe barre it replaced). This stability is very appealing to me. I debated whether to get this steel-piped barre or one from a different vendor with aluminum pipe before placing my order. I'm very happy with my decision because the steel barre is incredibly light and easy to move, and I believe the slight added weight from the steel is beneficial to stability. When the class switches from barre to center, I simply loosen the bottom clamps and swivel the feet, allowing the barre to sit flush against the wall and out of the way. br>br>I can't rave enough about this product; it's fantastic!.
" We used to have a bar on the wall in our old house. That is not an option in my current residence. On Amazon, I came across this portable bar. So, why not? I reasoned. It's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. In addition, it is significantly larger. But that's fine with me. I was hoping this item wasn't "fun-sized" because it appeared to be aimed at young gymnastics girls. size". Despite the lack of instructions, assembly took only a few minutes. It is non-slip thanks to the rubber "feet. " Because the bars are adjustable, I can change them depending on the type of workout I'm doing. My purchase was a great success.
I bought this ballet barre so that I could practice ballet at home while also watching barre classes on my TV during the COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVI There was a 19th outbreak. Prior to the box arriving, the amazon seller sent me a message with instructions on how to put the bar together and was extremely pleasant. The box arrived, and although it was heavier than I had anticipated, it was relatively simple to put together. It's been two days since I've used it and I'm very pleased with it. It's surprisingly sturdy for a free-standing barre, and it's perfect for my needs. br>br>I placed the grip barre on the lower barre because I don't intend to use it very often. Other sellers claimed it was easy to remove, but I couldn't get it off.
When it comes to adult use, consider 5ft instead of 4ft. This was purchased as a present for a coworker. My teenage daughter and I are taking ballet classes at home. I went with the color "1" because it had a wooden crossbar rather than a metal one. So glad! The crossbar is made of fine wood that has been sanded to a velvety smooth finish. The unit was simple to put together and didn't require any tools, and it's sturdy enough for adults to use. Non- Our Marley flooring has skid foot material that stays put. Overall, this is a high-quality item that is well worth the money. br>br>I wish I had ordered the 5ft-long version. Although the 4ft crossbar is long enough for my hands to move freely during class, the *feet* are only 4ft apart, so even though I am only 5'4" tall, I have to be careful not to kick them. I wouldn't have to consider it if they were 5 feet apart. For younger or shorter children, the 4ft length would suffice. Despite the fact that a carry bag was promised in the product description and photos, the product did not come with one; however, this was not a deal breaker for us.
I deducted a star from my rating because I wished the second/lower bar had a wraparound cover. The wraparound cover for the top bar is fantastic: It's thick enough to protect your foot from metal pressure while stretching and stylish at the same time. br>I expected it to be a little flimsy due to the nature of a freestanding bar, but it's adequate for my leg stretches. According to some reviews, sand can be easily inserted into the tubes to make the bar heavier. However, I will not be doing so because I move it from room to room on a regular basis. It is simple to get around.
It's incredibly simple to put together. It appears to be very nice, though it is a lot more wobbly than I anticipated. I knew it was light weight because of the product description, but even with everything as tight as we can make it, it isn't very stable.
This is what I ordered for my little ballerinas. Gymnasts (ages 1, 3, and 5) The bar wouldn't stay up in the first one. The black clamp was faulty; it appears that the screws have been covered in plastic or paint, causing them to strip. I returned it and received a replacement that had the same defective parts as the first! I'm annoyed that I have to send this back a second time; the black clamp piece needs to be recalled. checked out.
