I was reluctant to write this positive review because I have noticed that products that get good reviews tend to go up in price, and I might want to buy another one The Wing Chung bag was bought for my son to practice fencing during COVID As for punches, I did try it on a house with drywall and I would not recommend it for a standard house inside (drywall construction) but I think this would be great for martial arts practice if mounted to a concrete wall or a sturdy post. The product is definitely great It's just a matter of hoping the price remains.
There are a number of areas including the grips of the hand that can be worked. The article here really speaks to my heart as I am a 1st Dan karateka. This is what I filled it with 7 pounds of dried red kidney beans!.
It's a great investment if you practice martial arts and more specifically Wing Chun as a training tool to teach you how to punch properly for the price. In addition, it teaches you how to generate power when you extend your hand. It is best to fill the sack with mung beans, but rice will also work well.
It is something that needs to be improved. I just want to say that. Effort and craftsmanship. That's something we should all strive for. We filled the jar with sand, but noticed that the ring was frayed.
It only held 8 lbs of rice, and by the time I added the water, the zipper had already ripped off and the metal rings were bent and tearing. It looks like the rings are made of aluminum. In addition, the zipper mouth is too small to allow easy pouring of contents inside the bag. The bag could be more durable if it made its mouth larger.
Very nice quality. With heavier fill, you may need to reinforce the bag, as the eyelets will begin to pull out one by one because they are Adding loops to the perimeter would make it easier for customers to use. I found this to be a good purchase.
In the basement I mounted them on a wall with some wood and I think they look very nice.
Stylish punching bag that can be taken anywhere.
