Questions & Answers

The size that you recommend for me is 5'11" and 135 pounds. What is the best size for me?

I'm not certain if anyone has answered this question yet, however, here's the big news for those who will be reading for the future. The only thing that matters is your weight, regardless of whether you are 5'2 or 6'4. It is for a reason that weight classes are in place. It is generally the case that the more you weigh, the harder you punch, thus the need for a heavier glove. It is not possible for me to evaluate this particular brand since all gloves are not created equal. This is simply my opinion from an overall In the case of Rival gloves, they are known for providing protection and wrist support. I have the RB-, which is a bit expensive as well While they are 10 inches tall and have excellent padding and wrist support, they cost Also, the Title Gel gloves offer great support. Ok, let's get back to what we were talking about. I think these gloves are very good looking and probably offer some protection, but don't expect everything to be just fine. If you are not 90 lbs, then get no less than 12 oz. Unless you are a competition athlete, 8 to 10 oz are for bag work only. Bags of 12 oz to 14 oz are the most common. If you don't wear gloves, then just do shadow boxing. Gloves are designed to have weight behind them so you can get tired to train harder, but not overdo it. If you don't wear gloves, just train with your hands. It's cheaper to get 16 ounces, so why not? Well, you should be able to if you are 180 lbs or above since you are a bigger person and the lighter weight gloves will feel like 6 lbs. Say you weigh 155 lbs and use 16 oz. Yeah, it would be better protection in theory. But its weight would be more than you could handle. You will receive 3 rounds of play. The 12 oz I have is my favorite. I do have a 14 oz as well. Whenever I work out, I feel that I get good work in and can land a lot of power shots, and I can easily do 8 or 9 sets of 30 seconds. With a height of 5'6 and a weight of 143 pounds, I am 143 pounds. Lastly, I would like to summarize. As long as you have a 155 lb. body weight, 12 oz is the sweet spot. The recommended dosage for 155 to 180 lbs. is 14 oz., and for 180 lbs. and up, it's 16 oz. A typical sparring glove weighs 16 oz, but if you need to support extra weight in your hands, you can and should be able to do this. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. Boxing is my passion and I am certified to

Interested in purchasing an 8 oz glove for an adult male My hands may be too small for this product their size may be difficult to predict It looks like sardines are packed in there, doesn't it?

I am a man that stands 5'7" high and weighs 128 lbs. I found the 8oz gloves to be perfectly fitting. An 8oz mitt is perfect for hitting precision balls. When using 8oz gloves for heavy bags, it is recommended that you wrap your hands with a hand wrap to increase knuckle protection. Last but not least, do not use 8oz when sparring with a

These gloves have been in my possession for three months now and they are literally falling apart. I have to punch to stop the gel/foam material falling out. Would you be able to help me?

This issue has plagued me for over 3 months and the parts are no longer working.

To determine what size you need, how do you decide? Tiny but strong, I'm a woman with a big heart. The total body weight is 110 lbs for someone that is 5'3". ?

Thanks for responding, Diane. These were a gift, so I don't know how he determines which size to get but I'm 5'10 and 105 pounds. I had my daughter try them on, so I could see if they fitted her well too, as she is 5'3". In my case, my middle finger measures 2 3/4" long, whereas my daughter's is 3" long. You can measure it by put the end of a ruler just touching the web, along with the tip of your middle finger. The gloves I have are Sanabul size 8 ounces. I wish you all the best!

I've never worn anything like this before
5/5

The only boxing gloves I've ever had are my running shoes, so I have never even tried boxing. I like these gloves because they fit well, they feel great, and they appear to be made of high-quality materials. I was surprised that I found some nice gloves for $20. My trainer (who is an MMA fighter) also said that these gloves are good. The gloves I recommend are definitely worth a look if you're looking for some. Apparently I have longer fingers, but these gloves are still perfect for me. I bought the 8oz black and red gloves because I don't necessarily have large hands, but I do think I have longer fingers than most people do. I would appreciate it if you could tell me if you found my review useful by clicking the "helpful" button.

The weight per ounce is 12oz
4/5

A height of 5'11 and a weight of 155 pounds. Overview of background
- My height is 5'11 and I weight 155 pounds. I bought the 12oz (I normally use 16oz) for an upcoming boxing event where it is After using them for a few hours on heavy and double-ended bags, I understand they're very durable. **(If you are buying the product for cardio/heavybag workouts, please do yourself a favor and buy 16 oz. Using anything less than a heavy blunt object will cause you injury, especially if you plan to hit hard with it. The heavier gloves will also help you work out more effectively. There is no better deal out there for the price. A nice selection of material both inside and outside This is a glove and it is a stylish one. It does not smell like others have reported. A free mouthguard was included in the purchase price of about $25. This was probably worth about $40. There is a 50 percent discount. It is overly tight with handwraps and my hands are thinner than average, so my only negative comment is that the glove is too tight with handwraps. I might be able to break them in more after they have been worn in more, but if my hand was even a smidge thicker around the fingers, it would be impossible to use them. In contrast, you could get a big Velcro strap on it and still wear it with an extremely big wrist. The photos can be found in the attachments. Comments additional to those above. It is more common that people who write negative reviews get a shoe with a fault (which can happen to any brand. Just contact the seller and explain the failure. e) or complaining about its failure after some months of *Now this really depends on how you're using the gloves, how often, and how often you go through the gloves. But even the TOP quality gloves can be used for anywhere between 3-ten uses at a time. I was in the military for a year. there is no visible damage, the padding/protection of the heavy bag is definitely gone, which can make sparring or hitting the heavy bag dangerous. It would be unrealistic to expect any glove under $100 to last more than 6 months under moderate usage. A new pair of gloves is meant to be worn frequently. The question of why you didn't receive the free mouthguard is common, as people are asking why they didn't receive it. To get the mouth guard, you first have to add both items to your cart before checking out, and then make sure both have the same shipping option. If (Standard)* is selected, it will discount the mouthguard price from the total of the order.

A great pair of gloves for beginners
5/5

My first time ordering boxing gloves is due to the fact that I have never boxed before. With a height of 5'3" and a weight of 120 pounds, I am 120 pounds. Using the size guide on the ad, I selected the appropriate size. According to the size guide, it is 10 oz - 14 oz The weight per ounce is 12oz. The weight of a woman is usually around 100 pounds to 125 pounds. Being that I weigh 120 pounds, I chose to order the 12 oz. Even though I am unsure if this glove is right for me, it feels like there is a lot of room for me in them. The size 12oz seems too big for me, so I should have ordered a 10oz. For a better view of the length, I conducted a measuring tape test against the boxing gloves. I also took a photo of my hand with a measuring tape on it. It should be easier to determine what size would be best for you if you refer to this chart. There are no apparent problems with the gloves, and they appear to be of high It has been going well so far when I hit my punching bag with some good, hard punches. I have used it about a handful of times with boxing sessions of 15 to 20 minutes each. This is my first time purchasing gloves and I am pretty pleased with my purchase. I recommend these gloves to anyone who is just beginning. There was only one thing I would have liked better to have sized.

I really like the gloves
5/5

These gloves are amazing! I honestly do not know how to put into words how much I love them! This is without a doubt the most comfortable glove you will ever wear. These are a fantastic product with good quality and construction that will last a long time. I went with the 10oz version and it was perfect for me. I like how snug they fit with wraps on, so I wear them all the time. This product is fantastic for both bag work and sparring matches, and I find that I use it regularly There is no way to.

Excellent Value for the price
4/5

I'm a big and heavy guy and this is excellent for me It is hand-held. This is the first pair I've ever used, and I'm amazed at the quality. I've used them every day for two weeks, and I can tell they are good. gloves feel sturdy and comfortable, and I expect they will last me a long time. Compared to the Everlast Training gloves I used to use, these gloves provide a lot more wrist support and cushion for the same price. I would certainly purchase these The durability I thought these had is deducting a star. While I think these continue to be a good value for the price, I deduct a star for the price. I have been hitting the heavy bags at a boxing gym for about three years now I've been punching about four times a week for the past two months or so, and little pieces of fluff have started to fly out of the gloves. There have been times when it has gotten in my eye. As well, they do not and have never made the same sound or impact as others I have seen, since they are more like pillows in their design. The model I have now feels great, and they're great for someone who doesn't box much, but as I hope to keep boxing regularly for a long time, I'm going to upgrade to a higher-quality model. If you are only using the box occasionally, I would still recommend it to you.
