Is there a way to cut it down? Is there a requirement for 6 feet of hang space?

It is impossible to condense it. You'll need the entire 6' of hanging space.

Is it possible to make this a little bit shorter?

This isn't the case.

I'm curious about the rope's diameter. ?

It's about an inch and a half, in my estimation. It's pleasant to the touch and silky to the touch. This swing has been a favorite of my children since the beginning of the pandemic, and it is still in excellent condition.

Is it possible to use this with a swing set?

Yes. I believe it would work well on a swing set. It does, however, swing out to the side quite a bit.

The black hanging strap had come undone

We thought the swing was fantastic until the black hanging strap that came with it snapped while my 70-pound 9-year-old was swinging it two weeks after we received it. She landed on her back after falling 7 feet. Fortunately, she was not seriously hurt, but she could have easily been. Please inspect these straps carefully to ensure that they are sturdy and supportive.

Purchase a tree strap that is thicker and heavier

This is an excellent product. the rope, as well as the swing itself br> HOWEVER, it is preferable to purchase the one with the stronger Strap that goes over the tree. This one isn't strong enough, so I had to go out and buy a new one. As a result, I would have purchased the one that came with a stronger Strap hanger that matched the rope. Otherwise, you'll end up wasting money on things you don't need.

I'm not a fan of climbing, but kids seem to enjoy it

My kids enjoy swinging on this and are no longer in pain from our previous home. A stick on a rope that has been custom-made. It helps my eight and eleven-year-old children. The climbing is a letdown, but the swinging has proven to be a hit so far. It's simple to hang on the right tree. The rope is strong, so we're hoping the tree itself will be as well. The touching piece will not shred even after a lot of use.

The swing has been a wonderful addition to our backyard, and both our 9-year-old and his friends enjoy it. It has a lot of strength and durability to it. Just a piece of advice: make sure the branch's strap is tight so it doesn't slide back and forth, causing damage to the tree branch.

This is a great toy, but it isn't the best option

Someone gave one of these to my kids, and they absolutely love it, so I went out and bought another. This one is nearly identical to the other, with the exception that the top strap is much smaller on this one. This one appears to be sturdy, but it might not be long enough to wrap around a particularly thick branch. Aside from that, the product is excellent.

It's a great gift for children! It's a hit with my daughters! My six-year-old enjoys clinging to me, while my three-year-old enjoys swinging. It's fantastic, and it's also extremely durable.
