style of legislation I have several sets of bolas, all of which have soft balls. Weight can be added by squeezing with sand. These, on the other hand, are like real golf balls in that they are hard and solid. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. These appear to be bolas that must be regulated. It wasn't at all what I had anticipated. Those who are accustomed to the certain ones. If these come into contact with anything other than your ladder game, they will most likely hurt or break. It's possible that their weight will give you an advantage in your tosses.
Originals were cheap, as were the ladders, so I made new ones out of Sch 40 PVC and painted them. It was a fun afternoon with a child, and we now have something pretty cool to show for it, material cost less than $20, mine a little more because I painted it up nice too.
These are golf balls in the true sense of the word. The soft plastic balls that came with our original set were not among them. We weren't too keen on tossing them with our glass patio table, which was on the opposite side of the opposing ladder. Our small children were also not pleased that they couldn't ride their bikes on the patio while we were playing golf, for fear of being hit in the head or face by a golf ball. We tried them out, but our metal ladders were dented as a result. In addition, the ropes are absurdly long. It shouldn't be possible to wrap it around two bars at the same time. Very dissatisfied. Hopefully, I will be able to return at no cost.
The weight and feel of the real golf balls, as well as the thickness of the ropes, were all exactly what I was looking for in a replacement set of balls at a reasonable price.
They're fantastic, and we've already put them to good use! br>I'm debating whether or not to purchase a new set.
This is a fantastic camping or weekend family game.
At our wedding venue, we'll be using these. As a replacement, I bought these. The ropes are frayed and the balls have fallen off the rope after just one month of weekend use. These were purchased to replace a previous set in which the knots had failed to keep the balls in place. Both left me wanting.
I tried my hand at making one. It was a disaster. These were absolutely fantastic.
