Questions & Answers

Are there any lead balls that you could put in it to make it ?

In order to make it heavier, you could drill holes in it and glue weights in to make it a little more stable in the wind and provide a little more distance. It's certainly a possibility.

Where did you get this from? What type of material is it?

A plastic made of ABS.

Selected User Reviews For Speed Racer Fast Catch Boomerangs - Orange!

This is a good tool for experienced users, but a little hard for beginners to learn
4/5

Then read on! Considering that I have only been throwing boomerangs for a little over 15 hours. The Manu Pro is also from Colorado Boomerangs, which I highly recommend. This boomerang is probably better as a second boomerang once you've mastered the easier one (see my review of the Manu Pro). A proper boomerang sports event is Fast Throw, and this type of boomerang is designed for that particular sport. It does come back for experienced users consistently, but a hard throw with ample spin is required to get it. While the construction may appear cheap to those who look at it, the event tent is robust and made for the occasion. It does sound like a heavier construction might assist with better throws and spins. advice is to throw it at a slight upwards trajectory (maybe 25% instead of 30%). A vertical line extending almost the entire length of the horizon - I think it is very important to get enough spin on release, and to make sure it is oriented. Additionally, make sure that you have the left cheek facing out and that the wind is on the left. It is easy to forget your sunglasses in the sun, and boomerangs in general can cut your hands if they hit fast enough. Make sure you wear gloves as well, as sunglasses make it more difficult to see. Take a few minutes to watch some instructional videos online, as well as following the directions Colorado Boomerangs sends with this. The throw may not reach you on the first throw, so try throwing it higher and taking a few extra seconds to make sure there is enough spin on the ball. The food will keep coming back behind you or in front of you (making a 4" instead of a circle) if there's not enough wind blowing in your direction. Throw more to your right of where it goes. You can also fly a kite instead of a boomerang if it is too windy because anything over 9 mph will blow the boomerang throughout the sky. You can also look at it sideways and determine if you need to apply less or more warp, depending on how good your release is, though that is a more advanced tip, so your first focus should really be on making a complete circuit and getting Take a look at my video here to see how it works.

The boomerang is a good choice as it's easy to use and durable
5/5

The boomerang I received yesterday was my first time using it today so I took it to the park to see how it worked. I had to practice for about an hour before I was able to get it back to my hands, but once I mastered it, the rest came easy. Boomerangs like this are very durable and well made. There were many people gathered around me at the park to watch me catch my boomerang and throw it. A strong recommendation is in order for.

In the event that you try to catch it, you'll be injured
3/5

As a Prime member for the third year in a row, I have received many goodies. Usually, I don't return my orders, and I won't do it either this time. The boomerang isn't easy to return to me, but I can wear out customers with it. Moreover, the objects three edges are so sharp that you will get cut if you try to catch them.

There is plenty of room to spread out
4/5

Several boomerangs have flown for me in my life, and they all flew As I am trying to aim for it, it seems to be in a spiral, and I think I have to aim pretty As if a helicopter sped down on my roof until it sank. I have two giant trees in my backyard, and they are beautiful. There are about five I would have 2 giant trees blocking the unpredictable flight path on my 5 acres of land, otherwise 5 acres would be sufficient. As well as throwing straight boomerangs, I have thrown curved boomerangs, and I seem to prefer those. With the nerf one I have, I can predict what is going to happen.

Comes back like nothing ever happened! My five year old son loves to play with this boomerang
5/5

The arm strength is not quite there for him to regain it yet, but he's trying. After removing it from the ceiling we were able to get it to return to its original condition. When I got started, I only got about 3/4 of a circle, but when I learned to give it a little more spin, I was able to get a better circle. Although I underestimated the size of the space needed for this, I still ended up throwing it. In our backyard we have a decent sized space, but the yard goes into the trees just before it can turn again. Having taken the device to a soccer field, I was able to get it to.

This is a good beginner boomerang! My review of the Fast Catch Racer Blue can be found here
5/5

I received one of my orange Fast Catch boomas with a very significant bend in the With a few minutes of flexing under a hot kitchen faucet, it was flat enough as well. In the air, it looks good and flies well. It is easier to find because of the color. You must develop your technique and strength before you are able to catch and return the ball consistently. While running and walking are part of the fun, there is also some walking to be done. Despite its soft surface, this booma has a hard edge and can cause significant injury, so use prudence when throwing and catching!.

Neither does anything nor has any effect
3/5

After trying to get it to fly right for an hour, I spent an hour following the instructions with my son. I carved out some nice divots in the ground 20 feet ahead of us and just once put it underneath a car. Other than that it didn't seem to be any kind of boomerang return. As a result, what you get, you pay for.

There have been four or five boomerangs in my life, and this is surely one of the best
5/5

I have about four or five boomerangs and this is one of the best ones. It has a tight curve and will come back to you every time if you throw it correctly. It has a fun curve and I have enjoyed playing with it a lot.
