The diameter of this tire is 5 inches. Despite its size, 7 3/4 inches is quite small. A 8 would have been a good buy for me. The store ones were much larger, however, these ones are noticeably smaller. They measure about 8 inches in circumference, which is a little under 27 inches. It is 5 inches long. A standard measurement of 24 is used for these. The model is 50 inches in diameter (generously inflated), or 7 3/4 inch tall. There is a huge difference in size between a true 8 and a true 9. A ball with a diameter of 5 inches. I am disappointed.
I found more pumps at Dollar Tree and added them to the ones that didn't come with a pump (sent the one that came with it in another box). Their construction is excellent and I hope that they are enjoyed by their recipients.
We couldn't get the ball to inflate to full size. We returned it and spent more money on a more durable.
Playing four square with my kids is a lot of fun, and they all fight over these balls. It is typical for the school to let us use kickballs. My kids have been rough with them since I bought them, and I have only inflated one of them so far. Thank you for your purchase! I am very pleased with it.
A number of reviews claimed the balls were smaller than advertised or a different size. It is simply not true. It's imperative that you correctly inflate them. It was simply a case of not pumping them up enough that made them seem too small.
Players can easily identify their balls with the four different colors in a game when there are four of them. It is of good quality and has a great surface texture, but it is not as strong as it could be. Playing "tree ball" and "saucer ball" and other games with them is a lot of fun. A series of kicks is used to hit a sequence of trees in tree ball. Trees bounce a lot and are easy to kick. The goal of saucer ball is to kick the ball into the saucer first, like golf. We use circular snow sleds and we kick the ball into the saucer after it lands. I have found that they work well.
At least 5". It was very easy to blow up these balls to 8+ inches with the pump. For all four of the balls, I inflated them to a diameter of 10", using ONE of the THREE included nozzles. In case of need, the extra nozzles will be stored for air refills. In response to The length of my hands is 7 inches* from the tip of the index finger to the palm.
It can be easily handled because it is textured. In spite of the fact that my grandsons are under 3, they are able to throw, catch, and kick any ball. There are many bright colors, which makes a nice surprise as well!.
