They throw and are the same size as the Rhino Skins (RS), which I have purchased over 60 of in the last eight years. br>I've seen the RS balls' quality deteriorate. br>The first dozen RS balls lasted three years of heavy use! That life expectancy blew me away! The following Rhino skins would only last a year or two after that. Our level of play remained the same, and I made sure to keep an eye on the balls to ensure they weren't being intentionally ripped apart. After only 6 months of use, the last dozen RS balls began to tear. br>I'm not going to buy any more Rhino skins. br>br>I haven't had the opportunity to test how long the Go Sports dodgeballs will last, but the Go Sports balls' skin feels much more durable right out of the box. When I handed a friend an RS and a GS ball, he could tell the difference in quality right away. I squeezed the GS dodgeball flat several times and it responded quickly without separating the foam from the skin. Over the last five years, the RS balls have had a major issue with this. They separate from the skins much faster than they did a few years ago (quality change). I also attempted to puncture the skin with my fingernails but was unable to do so. br>I'll update after we've had a chance to use the Go Sports dodgeballs for a while and can see how they've worn over time.

These balls aren't inflatable and are made of soft foam. There's no need for a pump, and because they're made of foam, they won't deflate. We've only had these balls for a short time, but they appear to be of good quality and are very similar to the balls we previously had, which were excellent and long-lasting. I went out and bought more because a few of them had gone missing since then. I was surprised by how expensive they are, but that is my only criticism. br>The outside is glossy and attractive, and the colors are vibrant and appealing. When you grab the ball, you do have a good grip. We bought this set for a youth group, and the teenagers can throw the balls quite quickly while not injuring anyone who is hit. br>The internet is an excellent place to store them. It's a little bigger than it needs to be, so you can fit a few more balls in there, even if they're bigger than the ones in this set. br>At first, the size of the balls worried me. They're a little smaller than a standard soccer ball, but the teenagers seem to like them. br>Easy to grab with one hand, easy to throw, and no red, hurting faces.

  As a result of the covid, we've started playing indoor dodgeball. Yes, I'm going to beat up on our kids all winter long, if these foam balls hold up. These are just soft foam cores that have been dipped in a flexible covering. As you can see from the little protrusion on the ball, I imagine they jam a stick in the foam inner cores, then dip them in the covering, then remove them when cured. br>br>These should be of much higher quality for the price. Our toddler has already torn the skin in one of those spots. br>br>If you use these outside and scuff them on pavement or anything else rough, they will die quickly; please improve the quality.

These have been subjected to horrendous abuse by elementary and secondary school students. They've been sat on, twisted and squeezed to half their original size, and played numerous dodgeball games. In the past four months, there has been no visible damage to any of them. Even when the mean 6th graders beat up on the 2nd graders during recess, there were few tears shed. Adults don't have to be shy about joining in because these balls don't hurt and fly through the air well, though they are more difficult to catch than inflatable rubber playground balls. The extra cost was well worth it. br>My only gripe is that the mesh bag's drawstring clasp broke; I didn't hear the whole story, but it was most likely mistreated by the kids. br>Recent changes: After four years of use in a school gym, one of them has a small crack in the outer skin but is still fully functional. That one, I believe, was bit.

I'm not sure how I made it to adulthood without these in my childhood dodgeball. I remember trying to jump over one of those red utility balls and it catching my foot and sending me tumbling, not to mention the face burns and neck injuries we didn't realize were serious. There's no need to be concerned. br>br> Last week at summer camp, we were playing with both middle school and high school students, and some of the younger students had a fearful expression on their faces when they saw the older baseball players. I passed a ball to a pitcher, who threw it as hard as he could at me. I didn't even see the ball when he smacked me in the face, but I didn't feel anything. So great!.

There were a few direct hits to the face with hard throws, but no one was hurt. There were no tears in the skin, which was exactly what we wanted. I'd buy these again because they're high quality, sturdy, easy to grip, and soft.

When these balls arrived, I expected them to need to be inflated, but they are self-inflating. By design, a great foam is used to inflate the balloon. The first thing one of my friends did was squish the ball as hard as he could, which caused it to bounce back to full speed. after it has been compacted to its final size The outside material appears to be quite durable; the balls have been thrown into brick walls, bleachers, and a gym floor so far. There was also an over-the-shoulder bag included in the set. sized carry bag that also had room for my soccer ball and football.

They don't fly as true in the air as some of the other brands I use in PE class. When thrown at higher speeds, they knuckle a little and are slightly lighter than another brand that flies more true.
