Questions & Answers
The bristle is thicker than a standard 5. Unless you're a pro, stick with the standard 5. However, the dual core is the way to go if you want to brag about having the best dart board on the market.
There are no darts on this board, so if you're looking to play, look elsewhere. League darts are a fun way to spend some time with your friends. For around $30, you can get a nice pair of Harrows Genesis Tungsten 22g or 24g. If you're looking for something to do with the family, the Gerbarley darts would be ideal.
China is where the board is made. br>Please contact consumercare@escaladesports if you have any additional questions. combr>Thank you for your time and consideration.
Professional dart players demonstrate how to throw darts in a number of videos on YouTube. They have aided me in the past and should continue to do so in the future.
Selected User Reviews For Winmau Blade 5 Bristle Dartboard
My winmau dart board, which I paid 65 dollars for, is falling apart. I'm disappointed because I thought it would be a great replacement for my old dartboard, which was at least 12 years old and was in better condition when I threw it away. What a pity, 1star.
This is a nice solid board, and the thin wires that keep the darts from bouncing out are a nice touch. I'm also unfamiliar with how this board attaches to the wall. This one comes with a mounting system that allows you to secure it to the wall, which prevents the board from spinning and makes it easier to remove your darts. The mounts allowed me to get a tight fit even though the board was mounted on an uneven feature wall. That board doesn't wiggle in the least.
This is a terrible product that has already begun to fall apart after only four months of use, with the spiders having emerged and the board being uneven.
It's great to be able to play darts again on a real board. The hits have been consistently good. There will be no bounce. The spider has a very thin body. I can't say enough good things about this board; the roto-molding system made setup a breeze. leveling feet should be locked Turning them until they come to a halt on the backboard evens out the board and secures it. br>I read a review where the sisal came out with the darts, and it was a big deal. Only if you do not pull your dart out at the same angle as it went in will this happen. And when I say off-kilter, I don't mean just a little angle. If you're anything like me, you'll be thinking: Get back to basics with a pro-style keyboard if you're sick of soft touch boards and shoddy electronics. Spend a little more money on a higher-quality board. You will not be disappointed.
Two of the triple ring's numbers have bent bristles. For an almost $100 dart board, I'm not happy with the quality; the triple 15 and triple 13 have missing bristles. This board was touted as the best of the best, despite the fact that my Unicorn board from 15 years ago looked better. This is my first Winmau, and it hasn't left a lasting impression on me. Hopefully, they'll take responsibility and correct the situation.
Blade 5 spider sits just proud of the board (unlike the DMI Bandit it replaced), making it a visually appealing board with nice coloring and the darts sinking into the bristle. The leveling feet allow you to secure it against a backboard or a wall for a perfectly flat surface. I throw a lot of darts and have only had two bounce outs, both of which happened to be around the bull (lucky me). This message board comes highly recommended.
This is the worst Winmau board we've ever bought! The wall mount wheels were not placed correctly on the board, making mounting a nightmare, and this board has more bounce outs than any other board we've ever bought! I'm extremely dissatisfied with this purchase.
Until it fell apart, it was a good dart board.
