This dart board is a complete farce. There isn't any sort of recovery going on. It's as if you're flinging drywall at it. I'd like to take a picture of it and post it here. I have an instant recovery board that is 50 years old. The thick wire and staples are the only drawbacks. The darts will be pushed out by this board. It's the only board I've ever played on where you can stick a dart and it falls out as you walk up to pull it. I'm looking for a real board, where can I find one? I only gave it one star because I wanted to get it out there.
I believe I received a defective board! Overall, the board isn't bad, but the divider rings aren't centered, some are folded over, and the color in each divider has crossed over into the next. This board, in my opinion, was badly constructed.
I chose this board over the Winmau Blade 4/5 because it was less expensive. A MAJOR MISTAKE! THIS GLD BOARD IS BROKEN! The double bull is not positioned in the board's center. The red bull is not located in the center of the green bull. And it's not just a smidgeon off. IT'S WRONG IN EVERY WAY. So much so that it can be seen from 7 feet away from the toe line. My recommendation. . br>br> Buy the Winmau if you have an extra $10.
The fact that this dartboard heals so slowly astounds me. Tells me the sissel isn't all it's cracked up to be. That is perplexing because the reviews are extremely positive. I was going to return it, but I missed the return window by a day, so I'll have to go through the defective route instead. In any case, I would not recommend this board; our club uses Unicorn brand boards, and they get a lot of use with little sissel wear. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with that brand.
I'm an I. It's important for me to get out of my chair as an administrator; )br>br>In comparison to our old board, which had thick wires that constantly created bounce outs, this board has been fantastic in terms of rejecting bounce outs, and the description claims it is self-healing. That appears to be the case, despite the fact that the hole created by the darts can be seen when they are pulled out. This hole will vanish once another dart enters the board. Overall, this is a fantastic board; it's not quite as good as the old-fashioned horsehair boards, but it's close. Anyone who enjoys playing darts should check out this board.
Following that, it's all downhill. The installation was simple and straightforward, and it was simple to mount to my cabinet. It's a nice touch to include the measuring tape. This board is in no way self-contained. He is now letting darts fall out in various places as part of his healing process. To keep the board from wearing out unevenly, I've rotated the numbers on a weekly basis. Razor wire loses its straightness after two months of use. I've had very few bounce outs on this board, which was great for about a month before the sisal began to show signs of wear and looseness. It's just not a particularly sturdy piece of equipment.
This is an excellent board; I purchased three of them and now have a total of six. 2- a group of ten men who come over Once a week, twice a week, and once a month, respectively. We've had them for a month and have played hundreds of games on each one; the boards are holding up well and we've only had one dart bounce out of the board, which hit the ring on the double bull. In comparison to the old boards, we would have already thrown a few dozen darts. These boards have made me extremely happy.
First and foremost, let me state that I am a casual dart player. I bought this dartboard a few months ago and play darts every other day for about 20 minutes. For my needs, this is an excellent dartboard. I haven't noticed any significant changes in breakdown, and the board can be rotated if things do begin to break down. The scoring segments are separated by a thin metal rack, which is built into the board. Bounce-back situations are extremely uncommon. br>While it may seem insignificant, the sound of the dart striking the board is solid and satisfying. I don't have any complaints; installation was simple, and it looks great.
