That was not the case with the one I purchased. Every set of darts I've seen that came with a board (as a freebie) was completely worthless. Purchase a good set of darts for between $7 and $18. I'd buy two sets of darts, in fact.
The board is made of self-adhesive self-adhesive material. Sisal bristle fibers are compressed together to provide unmatched durability. Steel tip and soft tip darts can both be used in it. It's not a good idea to use it with throwing knives.
All of the necessary hardware is included with the board. You mount the bracket on the wall or on a backboard, then screw the bolt into the back of the board and slide it into the bracket to hang it.
It weighs about eight pounds and is quite large. To mount this, you'll almost certainly need to drill holes in the wall. It will necessitate the use of anchors.

br>br>The second one I got was brand new and sealed. I've been bouncing around a lot lately. There were no dead spots on the insides or outsides. This is a fantastic board for the price; just make sure they send you a new one and keep coming back until you do! If you found this review to be useful, please click the "Helpful" button below.
This is a good board at a good price. br>It is tournament quality and has held up well over the last 1. 5 years. br>It's a very strong and long-lasting product. br>I use it a lot and it's in good shape. br>br>Way better than other cheaper boards I've purchased in the past, which harden the entire board and cause the darts to voice out.
I'm no dart expert, but it meets my expectations for a decent dart board, and it's far superior to the cardboard dart board I previously owned.
This is a nice board, but it's not self-sealing because it's a bot. I threw a few darts and went away for the weekend, but the holes remained.
It doesn t look as nice as the "Shot Bandit" board, and his wires are larger than the "Shot Bandit" (they are the same size as 99% of the% You might as well not throw the darts if they don't stick.
Great.
self-healing is impossible.
The board comes alive with the rotating numbers ring, and there are few "bounce outs. " I bought two of these a year ago, and despite regular use, the self-healing sisal fibers keep the boards looking brand new.
