The measurements appear to be quite substantial. Is this a much larger dartboard than standard dartboards, and has anyone successfully used a surround with this?

If you're trying to fit it into a board case, it might be a little bigger, but I'm not sure because I'm using an open cork board. I participate in a dart league, which is nicer than some of the boards I use on a regular basis. I like how the wires are so thin that they barely protrude from the board.

What is the exact size of the outside? I'm staring at a 17-foot backboard. 75"?

The O. The board has a 17. (outside diameter) 75”. It might be a tight situation.

How big is the outermost wire's diameter?

The wire outside of the doubles boxes measures slightly less than 13 and 1/2 inches. Thick outside wire that holds the numbers on the outside of the board measures slightly less than 17 and 1/2 inches.

Is there a wall bracket included? Or must you buy them separately?

Yes, it includes a wall bracket from its own line. It's a significant improvement over the previous metal clip.

The Winmau Blade 5 is superior, but it isn't quite as good

This was a great board, according to a friend, and it was also around 0. Because it was 25" thicker than the Winmau, I assumed it would be better, even though the Winmau had excellent reviews. The Alien and the Winmau were both purchased by me. The bracket on the back of the Alien does not sit well with me. It allows the board to sway instead of being firmly attached to the wall. But the thing that irritates me the most is that the darts don't stick well and frequently fall out of the Alien board. On the Winmau Blade 5, I haven't had this issue at all. I would recommend the Winmau over the Alien, especially at this price point.

This is one of the best boards on the market for the price, and I've been riding one of these boards for the past four years

5 years. I really like how low-profile the wires are. I really like how the wires are tapered to reduce bounce-offs. It's a smooth board; the last one we had at work was used for two years, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that it probably saw 25 games per day and lasted that long. I'm not going to buy another board, though if I made a living throwing darts, I might have a different opinion. But, given my level of inexperience, this will suffice.

I had no idea I was supposed to rotate the board and the number ring to reduce wear and tear on the numbers that were frequently used. The company is run by a fantastic board of directors and people.

Instead, get Blade 5! The spider's thinness appeals to me

This board appears to be extremely durable and will last a long time. It is initially stiff, but once 6oubr>put some time into it, it is no longer an issue. The mounting system is not very sturdy. br>br> The board wobbles and rotates easily. Although this is a good board, money would be better spent on a Blade 5 that is not dual core.

The dartboard has several pits and grooves, and the logos appear to have been painted on the board by a child, despite the fact that it is one of the most expensive boards on Amazon. The packaging had been severely damaged and had been resealed with tape. It appeared that the item had previously been returned. I would not recommend this product.
