A person who keeps his or her pool stick clean can benefit from this product. A really dirty shaft won't be able to be cleaned this way. As long as you keep your shafts clean, you can use this effectively if I keep mine well maintained, I can often clean them within minutes. When my knee goes down for a couple weeks I'll need something stronger, but I play at least 6 hours per day. I also chalk every shot I like the product, and after using the cleaner with a wet cloth I take a dry cloth and create friction between the shaft and the cloth, and then everything is.

The results are not promising! There was no blue chalk left on the shaft, so it was clean and lifted. Then I cleaned it up, but not completely. I am not sure if I would have kept my cue clean had I used the product from the beginning of my ownership.
