Assembly took us around 4 hours, but one of the leg parts had been bent and did not fit properly when we got close to the end. My husband's birthday is around the corner, so I needed the replacement part to be ready for him by that time. I called customer service immediately to request the replacement part. The customer service representative said it would take 3 weeks to receive the order. The customer service is poor, and there was a 3 week wait. I can understand that parts aren't always perfect, but I am extremely disappointed in the service. We finally got the assembly done and it worked fine once we got it going The fold-flat floor remained flat for the first time that we unfolded it and then folded it up again. However, when we unfolded it again it no longer lay flat. It is not possible to sit flat on the right side of the chair because the leg is raised. The reason why I selected this particular game was that it was highly rated on Amazon and also in a separate rating source when searching "best basketball arcade games. " For about ten years, my grandkids loved a relatively unsophisticated game that still worked even after 10 years, but it was patched up and needed to be replaced. At first, I had my grandson put the game together using tools in our house as opposed to commercial ones. You get them with the game for cheap. As other reviews indicated, he followed directions carefully and had it working within 4 hours. However, the bolts couldn't be tightened into the capped nuts, so the game was swinging without a handle and the scoreboard did not function correctly. When I spoke with a representative from the product service department, the representative assured me that the bolts did tighten and that it would just take a lot of effort- I also found out that this was a common problem, so I tried to tighten them but I couldn't. A visit to the local hardware store was necessary to get new nuts and the employees there said the bolts would not tighten because these blue lock nuts were stuck on the bolts and prevented them from being screwed all the way through the nut. Did I come home with 25 uncapped nuts so I could redo them all? Putting the bolts to work. It was my husband who stepped in and took hold of the bolts with a huge wrench and a ratchet screwdriver. Thus, the scorer panel finally worked correctly, and we now appear to have a "good" game for the grandchildren. Hence, my grandson is paid $50 for his tireless work and we are good to go after spending $250 in its initial form, 5 hours of intense labor, and $250 in initial costs. The $125 game that I could have picked up at Sam's is in my opinion far superior. This is not something I would recommend buying.

I consider this set of basketball arcade to be an excellent value for less than $250 dollars. Putting them together isn't that easy, you will often need two people and will need to push pretty hard to get them tight. You'll definitely need an electrical screw driver if you're not equipped with one before you start assembling Here are some things to like about this 1) It comes with six balls, and they are of good quality.

When I bought two of these for a company party, they both broke before we even realized it. About a week ago, I ordered them and we got to use them for about 15 minutes. This is not something I would recommend.

The overall appearance and functionality of the game have been good for me. Playing rough is no problem for this solid surface. There are many games to choose from and the parts are of good quality. In my experience, the parts arrive in a nice labeled packaging--but when they arrive like mine did (photo), they aren't very useful on their own. The time it took to sort out all the parts (some of which appeared to be missing) was longer than I anticipated. It took me about two hours to complete the assembly, while the instructions were simply adequate. The good news is that I have plenty of spare nuts, bolts, and washers handy otherwise, I would have had to make multiple trips to Also, the game settings start over each time the game is turned off and this is a bit frustrating. In my opinion, it would be best if the last game played and settings would be stored. We have to go through all the games to get back to the one that we play all the time. Be sure to keep a game book handy as you will need it to know what each one is when cycling through the settings. Number them on the display board as the game books do not have numbers.

I am glad I paid for this.
