This was purchased as a replacement for an older one (of a different brand) that had become unusable. It's for my six-person family, and it's in our finished basement. So far, the children are having a great time with it. in addition to myself Advantages: br>br>
- Assembling it is fairly simple and straightforward. It was simple to put together.
- There are a lot of games to choose from, and the sound levels/volumes can be adjusted. br>- Fits nicely into a finished basement corner (ceiling height of 8 feet). It's slightly larger than our previous one, but not significantly so.
- So far, it appears to be quite durable, but with four children and their friends playing with it, only time will tell. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- When not in use, it does not remain collapsed well. It doesn't latch properly and frequently reverts to the extended position. I'm a little disappointed because we don't want it fully extended all of the time, so we'll have to buy a bungee cord, velcro strap, or something similar to keep it collapsed. This aspect of the design could definitely have been given a little more thought.
- The ball retrieval was deemed too deep by some children (in comparison to their previous one). The shorter children may find it difficult to reach down and retrieve the basketballs. br>br>Given the issue with it staying collapsed, I'd give it a 3 to 4. I'm confident that if I can figure this out, I'll be able to raise my rating score. So far, we've been pleased.

So, I swear, I bought this for my four kids, but as a mom during covid, I know parents can relate to feeling bad about their kids being stuck inside more. I'm a New England girl who was born and raised in Massachusetts, where the winters are bitterly cold. Unless you're lucky enough to have a warm day, it'll be too cold to feel your fingers and shoot hoops at the part. I'm a gym goer, and I can tell you that this gets your blood pumping, your heart rate up, and your sweat glands working. It took some time to put it together, but it was time well spent because you want it to be long-lasting and secure. All tools are included, and the nuts and bolts are packaged in the best way I've seen, with each having its own cardboard cutout. So there's no confusion, you can pop out with the piece number it's leaving. When I finally got it together, it wasn't counting my baskets, so I looked up possible causes and discovered that it was simply because I had the bet on backwards, causing the sensors to interfere. I'm a single mom, so I didn't have any help putting it together, but I'm sure it would have been much easier if it had been done as a team.

I considered getting the two-hoop version, but I'm glad I went with the Sungle hoop instead. It was also about $80 less expensive, I believe. You will save both space and money. The thrill of watching your opponent and then trying to beat their score is still present. The build quality is excellent. As a middle-aged childess married man, I used my own tools with their supplied washers and bolts, etc. br>br>This is a blast and highly recommend. Because it's in my living room, it's impossible not to fire off a dozen shots if you're within 3'. I'm finding that I'm shooting a lot more than I'm playing scoring games. However, there are times when it's fun to play a simple game with a scoreboard to see how many shots I can make in a day. br>br>I like the traditional style, and the rim is sturdy. br>br>It took about 2 hours. It took me 5 and a half hours to put this together on my own. Connecting the backboard to the frame was the most difficult part. It's a lot easier with two people, but it's possible to do it alone. br>br>Highly recommend the single over the double (perfect size and value, especially if the main player is an adult).

Designed to withstand repeated use. Wow! It's a lot of fun to play this game. I kept playing until my arms were nearly nailed to the floor. br>br>This is a high-quality unit that will last a long time. br>br>Assembly was straightforward, but it took longer than I anticipated. I'm a natural at putting things together. I spent nearly two hours on this, including getting organized. Keeping track of the parts If I were to do another, I'm sure it would go faster because I wouldn't have to spend as much time looking for part numbers. I put it together entirely on my own - However, I completely understand why two people are strongly suggested. Even though I did it by myself, I would recommend having two people help you put up the backboard so it doesn't fall down. The electronics should be destroyed. There are several games pre-installed. br>br> Read the quick instructions for the game. You're going to figure it out eventually. A high score is maintained in each game. Everyone tried their hand at PopAShot, and everyone had a good time.

I believe that the difficulty of making a shot is one of the reasons why my children are no longer interested in playing. They kept complaining on the first day that even when they hit the backboard, their shots didn't go in. When my friends visit, they always make the same remarks. It would be a lot better if the hoop was bigger. It should also include a spring hoop to help with shot placement. It's even more difficult because of the rigid hoop, which isn't fun. I used to play organized basketball in high school and college, and the amount of time it would take to master this thing would take away all the funbr>br>the balls frequently bounce out of the game, even with the net. The balls do not return to the player in full. They're about a foot away thanks to the sagging fabric. It would be preferable if the balls had to roll all the way to the player on a wooden ramp. Since the balls tend to fly out of the game, I'd recommend purchasing two more; the game comes with four, but six is probably the best number. br>br>I believe the single shot is the better option; you sit there hoping your score isn't beaten, and it's exciting. The fact that the entire room is watching adds to the pressure. Plus, my boys would end up interfering with each other, blocking each other, and fighting, so one at a time works fine for them. br>br>The sensors are extremely accurate, and the game selection is fantastic. The announcer can be a little annoying because he taunts you the entire time, but it's not too badbr>br>all in all, it's here, but collecting dust. I shoot around occasionally, but I also have a real hoop in the backyard that's a lot more fun because you can actually make shots.
