This is a fun game that is suitable In all, it took my sister and I about 45 minutes to assemble it, but we made sure we had all the parts before beginning. I bought the basketball game about a month ago and the sound no longer worked. No matter how many batteries we changed and how many times we plugged in and unplugged, nothing worked. For a few seconds, the sound comes on every now and then. Work is so much fun when the sound is this great. However, the game is still enjoyable even after being a little disappointed.
On the occasion of our son's 9th birthday, my husband and I bought him this gift. It took us about 1 hour to put this together. It took 5 hours for the tools to be used. This was not difficult. (You could use better tools to make it faster, but you didn't have to). This gadget is fairly large, and you need to set it up in a room that is a decent size. So far we have played with it a little bit, really fun that it has eight games to play and keeps score up to 4 people. One of the games we played was Horse. This weekend is his party, so he doesn't get to see it until then. Hidering it has been a huge challenge. Despite the price, I am glad I bought it. If we encounter problems with sound or electronics at a later date, I will update this.
I enjoyed playing this, but I couldn't work out how to make the scoreboard work. I asked for a new scoreboard, but they want me to return it all. I shouldn't have to build it more than.
I didn't find this basketball hoop to be bad, but I didn't love it either. This design would be improved if the return section had poles that ran down on each side so that the return would not be so thin. A score keeper quit having sound after less than a month as well. It has been changed batteries, unplugged and plugged back in several times. The experiment did not work. There are times when the sound will randomly work, but it is rare.
