When my kids are done playing with it, they simply unplug the cord when it is finished running. It does not have an on/off switch. We are very pleased with how sturdy and well made this is!
During the winter, I would move the table indoors as any moisture would damage it I don't think the cold itself will do any damage to it.
The manufacturer should be able to answer that question for you.

All lights work and air quality is good. I really like this! It will need a place to live I have to find one. I've been using it for about a year, and it still works!.
love this product, but the adjustable legs fell off right after we opened the box, and the electric motor caught fire right when we turned it on. I explained how I had dealt with the situation to Escalade Sports after a few false starts and they apologized for the defective product and the confusion I had experienced with customer service. A new, top of the line air hockey table was also offered to my family. Our tables are completely satisfied with their apology and their offer. We returned the defective motor, returned the table, and are delighted with its replacement. I love this toy because it is sturdy and durable, and the lights are cool.
