This item has a cracked handle. We put them through a lot of wear and tear, and the felt eventually fell off, causing them to crack.

They're adequate as backups, but I can't say I like them
3/5

The pucks and strikers are adequate backups, but I can't say much about them because they are very light and feel cheap. The strikers are made of a hard hollow plastic, and despite the product description stating "Heavier weight than the competition" and describing them as "pro-style," I was expecting them to be much more solid. "series" (I'm not sure what's so good about them). For my 7. I should have paid more attention to the 1 and 2 star reviews before buying because I believe all the good reviews are from people with small and cheap department store tables, the kind bought as cheap kids toys certainly not a full size commercial table, to others complaining that the pucks are 'too thick' for their'regulation' table goals I have no idea what they mean by regulation but I assume they don't mean a proper full size commercial table, to some others complaining that the pucks are 'too thick' for their 9mm pucks weighing around 40 grams, with the red one in this set measuring 72mm X 4 inches. 72mm in diameter and 12 grams in weight, which is only a few grams more than a super cheap puck designed for a kids' toy table (black 2. Please see my photos for a comparison of my pucks; the green puck is an official commercial quality puck, the white puck is a cheap 'commercial replacement,' the red puck is from this set, and the black puck is from a tiny 3 foot kids table type setup. To be fair, I was aware that the puck was not intended for use on a commercial table, which necessitates the use of three pucks. 1/4 pucks, but based on the description and positive reviews, I expected them to be of higher quality; instead, they feel like they'd be fine for a cheap small department store table.

This isn't even close to being "Pro
3/5

" This set isn't particularly "pro. " The pucks are light and easily fly off the table, and so are the strikers. Pushing down on the strikers with a little force will cause them to bend. I'm a 7-year-old kid. This Hathaway set is better and more solid than my 8 foot sportcraft table and the pucks and strikers that came with my relatively cheap table. br>br>However, it isn't an entirely bad set. The striker grip design is comfortable in the hand, and the divots in the pucks appear to improve floatation. So there you have it.

The puck is heavy and the handles are good
5/5

I just got these and played a quick game with my son with them. The handles are comfortable to hold and have a nice feel to them. Although the pucks are heavy enough to prevent them from flying off the table, they still move freely in the air. (We had previously purchased a different set, which had basic handles and four pucks that were far too light. ) It was available on Amazon and was rated as a best buy. It was a lot less expensive than these. ) These, on the other hand, are fantastic! The purchase was a great success. For this product, I believe the price is fair!! br> If I discover something that isn't working properly in the future, I will make a comment. But, as of today, the first day, everything is going swimmingly! There are no issues!.

For a team of seven, great strikers and adequate lightweight pucks are essential
4/5

Tables range in size from 5' to 8'. Strikers can be extremely effective. These are my favorite design out of a variety of strikers I own. I can maintain total control with a more relaxed grip. On Amazon, a 3"-3 1/4" puck is difficult to come by. They primarily sell small, inexpensive pucks for children's tables. These pucks are just under 3" in diameter, and I really like the dimple design because it helps them float. The issue is that they are extremely light, weighing only 12 grams. 3 1/4" in diameter and 28 grams in weight, full-size pucks are available. The 3" size is fine because it forces you to strike with more precision, but the weight should be around 20 grams, and this would be an excellent set for 7. Quality home tables that range in size from 5' to 8'. When a 1 oz/28 g puck falls off the table, it can cause damage to the walls and furniture.

Not Professional, Not Sturdy
3/5

I bought these after reading an external review that claimed they would withstand any abuse we could dish out. The quality and durability of these paddles leave me completely unimpressed. They're hollow, light, bend when force is applied to the handle (which is almost necessary due to the design), and lack confidence. I don't think they'll last very long, so I'm on the lookout for a new paddle. br>br>Apart from that, the paddle's shape does not appeal to me. It's difficult for me to play for an extended period of time without completely changing my grip style.

It was far superior to the table's contents
5/5

We've had them for a few weeks and they're fantastic. We've discovered that the strikers are much easier to hold with this design, and that the pucks float even better than the ones that came with our air hockey table. My two young boys used to lose the original strikers out of their hands all the time (which is why one broke and we had to buy a new one), but these seem to be easier for them to hold on to.

Other reviews said it was flimsy, but I ignored them
3/5

I'm kicking myself for not paying attention to the bad reviews. These puck pushers are too small and weak to be useful. They have a hollow interior and are very light. The felt on one of them is glued off center, which is a problem because it causes the puck to pop up. I'm not sure why "light weight" gets a star rating. Because they are uncomfortably light, I gave them a one-star rating. Purchasing is not something I recommend.

It's too light and cheap
3/5

I was expecting something substantial and heavy, and this fell far short of my expectations. Because the pucks are so light and flimsy, they are constantly flying off the table. The strikers are made of thin, flimsy plastic and do not appear to be particularly heavy. This product appeared to be of high quality based on the reviews, but it is not. I'm disappointed because Amazon rated this as the best heavy striker. Perhaps these would be better suited to a small, inexpensive table.
