Questions & Answers

What country did this come from, and where did it come from?

In the United States, it's a small business.

What's the material used for the buckle?

alloy of steel and metal

What does this have in common with Alpha gear?

The tactical belts from Wolf are tough and durable. Alpha defense equipment is of a flimsy, low-quality appearance.

What is the locking mechanism's level of security? When it's closed, will it be easy to unplug?

It will not turn off without warning. My own has never given me any problems. It will remain in place until you let it go.

This isn't great
4/5

Not bad! I don't have anything to compare it to when it comes to EDC belts, but it's a good fit for me. I wanted a stiff belt with a Cobra-style buckle. br>br>In terms of size, if you're a 36, go with a medium. br>br>I'm glad I took the time to read the descriptions and see the pictures. Other belts with similar buckles were too wide to fit through regular pant loops on both sides. However, one of the buckles on this EDC belt is smaller than the other, making it fit through most (but not all) loops. SOLD! br>br>I wear the belt backwards, so the inner Wolf label is facing the wrong way. The velcro adjustment side is on the "left side. "br>br>I EDC a Tier 1 appendix holster that works great with this EDC belt; I've been wearing it for two days and it's perfect. There are no extras. The cost is reasonable. br>br> br>br>I don't believe it will ever fall apart. We'll see since I shoot IDPA. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After losing a few pounds, I purchased a medium size. Perfect.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I just received this belt yesterday; it's my first EDC belt, and I'm very pleased with it so far. It is simple to adjust and performs admirably. It's stiff and doesn't roll like it's supposed to. I like how easy it is to put on and take off the buckle. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase that I would strongly recommend. In addition, the price is excellent.

TL;DR: This edc/work belt is perfect for those on a budget
5/5

DR - Simply put, get it. It performs far better than the lower-cost alternatives available on this site, while remaining less expensive than major brand names. br>br>Look no further if you're looking for a cheap but functional edc belt. I had previously purchased a similar belt (Fairwinn) on here for half the price, but it was not what I was looking for in an edc belt, so I promptly returned it.
This belt was 100% worth the additional money

Although stiffened, it was not stiff enough
4/5

I wear a size 33 pant and the medium belt fits perfectly, with the buckle easily passing through regular belt loops. The buckle isn't a real cobra buckle, in my opinion. It is, however, compatible. Meaning that a genuine Cobra buckle will latch just fine, though the buckle's material isn't quite as good as a genuine Cobra buckle. The latch isn't as well made as the rest of the piece. However, it is equally effective. I'm not sure about the load capacity, but it's fine for everyday use. The belt is supposed to be stiffened, but it isn't. It's a good compromise between cheap double-layered webbing and a proper gun belt; it's fine, and I think I'll keep the belt; however, if I need another, I'll go for the real thing. This belt isn't stiff enough for my holster, but it works fine otherwise; don't be fooled by the'stiffened' claim.

You get what you pay for with a mediocre belt
3/5

When it came time to replace my ten-year-old ranger belt, I chose a hybrid cobra design, but since Blue Alpha Gear no longer sells them on Amazon, I bought this less expensive belt in the hopes that it would suffice. It isn't the case. I expected the cobra buckle to be a knockoff, but I was hoping for a ridged belt, which it isn't. It's flimsy out of the box (in comparison to good belts), and it only gets worse when you're wearing it with a pistol's weight. br>br>If you're broke, this is the absolute bottom of what's acceptable; it's better than nothing, but you'd be much better off saving your money to get a good belt. br>br>If you're just doing cosplay/milsim/Airport, this is probably the perfect belt for you.

Are you undecided? Buy two! First and foremost, those who argue that when carrying a weapon, you should go up a size are completely correct
5/5

Because the Velcro wraps all the way around my right side to within two inches of my spine, shortening the belt is not only possible, but it would also make it stiffer. If the pandemic has made you fatter than ever and you're trying to lose weight, going down a size will give you plenty of velcro to keep the belt in place until you're back to normal. What happens if the velcro isn't strong enough? I made the experiment because the buckle has a bar that holds the buckle in place very well. If you have to get it out of your pants quickly, don't bother. In nice jeans (as opposed to "work jeans" built for a thick belt and plumber's crack) and dressy shorts, the buckle does go through the loops. This was fortunate because the loops on the khakis made by the same people are likely to be the same. The buckle isn't made from "recycled rodeo buckles" or "slices of anvil," but if you don't need it to act as an improvised hammer or stop a bullet, you'll be fine. I didn't choose any of their other belts, especially the "rigger's" belt, because it shouldn't take any more effort to open than a regular leather belt; this belt takes far less effort to open. It won't open on its own or by accident, but it's nice to be able to open and close it without exerting any effort or having to worry about the belt getting stuck in the loops. br>br>I wouldn't want to wear this belt with a real kukhri or a 10mm 1911 - primarily as a result of the pull from the opposing side However, an EDC knife and a sidearm for concealed carry would suffice. I can't speak to whether or not carrying a sidearm inside the pants is a good idea, and I certainly wouldn't do so. However, because this belt is as stiff as a high-quality leather belt, I don't anticipate any issues unless you soak it in fabric softener. br>br>When I first ordered this belt, I was concerned that a seatbelt car accident would result in open guts, but it feels much better than the previous nylon or leather. br>br>Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I could have gotten away with a tan one, at least in the field, but now I need brown, black, and green; I'll buy two of each color if you send me the colors - as a precaution against someone tampering with your work! br>br>As much as possible, "Made in The USA" informs my decisions and serves as the deciding factor. This belt is made in China, but it must have been made by Mac makers in their spare time because - at the very least, the one I was given- It appears to be well-made and will stand the test of time. br>br>The one "con" that I believe should be mentioned is that the buckle is not replaceable. I can see the little "horns" that "buckle" the belt wearing out long before the belt shows any signs of wear.

The price is very reasonable
5/5

This is a great low-cost edc belt; it isn't as stiff as other high-end models/versions, but if you're on a budget, this is the one to get.
