Are you sure this weld is okay? In spite of its age, this is my third summit treestand, and I have never encountered a problem
3/5

The goliath I have been using for 12 years still works fine. It looks to me like the welding in this picture is not as strong as it could have been, because it is welded on both pieces, but from experience, it looks like the square tube was not flat against the bar before welding, so it is not as strong as it could have been. The second reason for 3 stars is because the paint is so thin you can see the aluminum through in a few places and a few places are chipped. Have a look before you use, it might break but it will always be on my mind to always check there before I use it. During our email exchange I asked summit if they could send me a can of touch up paint instead of returning the product. They agreed to consider it if I provided them with photos of all the places. Here's the update on summit it's a touch up can of paint. I tried to get Summit to replace just my foot piece for a month, but they told me I would need to replace the whole stand anyway they said they could not do that. Then what? Well, I'm just going to replace the whole stand with Amazon. the replacement stand is even worse than the original, paint so thin or missing throughout the whole thing that it looks like a 3 year old tore it apart, and the rails in the foot piece barely fit into the channel and were held on with tiny tack welds. It is my regret, but you are no longer what you once were. My summit goliath is going to remain, but the stand I'll be using will be It's funny, but I tried to post this review on Summi's website, but they won't post it, so it's not working.

That Viper I used to have was a better one! My 20 year old Viper had a broken support bar in the middle of the summer I am looking forward to the season
3/5

This stand was excellent, so there's no reason to complain. Titan was the most reasonably priced stand I could find for my needs. I was looking for a stand quickly, so I really liked the front rail that could be used as a gun rest. I was glad there was a stand as big as this one, which was a little heavier than the Viper but I didn't mind. There are two things I don't like about the photo 1. Even though the zipper is nice, it isn't enough to compensate for a cheaper, thinner fabric that covers much less of the rail on the front. The padding on the front rail is marginal at best. It doesn't cover the majority of the front As a result of the new pad, there is considerably more exposed aluminum that can trigger your gun or bow and make a noticeable amount of noise in a quiet deer forest. As an alternative to purchasing new arm pads, I used the old Viper armpads on the sides where the new pads are located. It's time for Summit to step up their game! 2.

There is only a very small amount of adjustment in the seat straps. It was possible to adjust the Viper's settings quite freely on my previous model. This is very useful if you are bow hunting versus hunting with a gun, as it allows you to adjust to different lengths. During bow season, I could adjust the seat to be near the top for plenty of clearance to the bow. When I go gun hunting, I can adjust the seat lower so that my top rail can be used as a gun rest.

3. I may be able to get some help from Summit. Despite its lowered height, the front rail does not appeal to me. I'm not sure if it is just the dimensions of the Viper versus the Titan or if the design is just that different, but the seat is not adjustable and the rail is at a bad height. I just don't like it Is there anything you can suggest? 2.
3. An elastic strap is used for shoulder straps. Summit, you can add some mildly padded shoulder straps to this thing or you can go back to the old elasticized straps. As a result, I'm not quite convinced that I'll keep this stand. I have to find out whether the new Viper will have the same dimensions as the old Viper, which will probably be enough to convince me to keep it. My return deadline is January 31st, so it's a good thing I've got this time frame. Here is my review. I hope you find it useful.

Firstly, I would like to say that I really like this stand
5/5

I have never had one before, and I had never used one before. My stands are usually metal and I've always used them. It is easy to use and set up, and I like that it is very sturdy. I think it is the fact it is so incredibly comfortable that it is not worth mentioning. as wide as a truck and tall as the sun. The size of my head is about 5 inches Nine feet and eighty-two hundred fifty. He is a little cubby, but well built. There is plenty of room on this thing. Seats like this are fanatical! It's soft, so there are no sounds when you move. There is nothing. It was an afternoon hunt that was my first hunting experience. As I faced east, the wind was driving west, and the sun was setting right in my face, warmly warming me up. My mind was absorbed by the scenery. Seeing a doe and her young in the field to my right run in and out of the woods, I marveled. I count this hunt as one of my favorites because of the rising sun and the comfort of this tree stand. On this beautiful Saturday afternoon, I enjoyed the company of friends. I'm glad I decided to buy it at the last minute. The investment is well worth it. There is no doubt about how safe and secure this is. Seating the stand in the tree is really easy. The forest is a safe place to explore, and you can easily carry it in and out. This is a 10 out of 10 rating Pros of

- Not at all
- Its size is adequate for men of large stature* A carry bag/hiking pack that is easy to use and carry- It is simple to set up
A simple method of taking it down*- A comfortable couch
- It looks really nice, but there are some cons! - The couch is a little too comfortable There isn't really anything wrong with that. While I had to fight napping, I did manage to get my work done.

This stand is for larger hunters or for anyone looking for comfort, capacity, and room
4/5

I have never been in a climber before, and I have to say that I prefer this to any ladder or blind in my collection. As a 6'7, 300 plus, I have plenty of room and zero concerns about being able to ensure my safety on this stand. There is an optional foot test that I purchased, and it is well worth the extra cost. If you take the time to learn how to use it properly, it's very user-friendly and safe. I would only recommend investing in the HSS straps in lieu of relying on the tether included with the kit. In this instance, I used an included harness, but next year I will purchase a vest type harness as the one that is included is difficult to adjust and not as user friendly as some of the higher The stand is a great choice for the tall man, gal, or anyone who desires comfort, space, and size.
