There are enough padding on the shoulder straps for them to be easily worn There would've been some benefit from a little more padding like the Hazard 4 shoulder pads, however, these are still good enough to wear under a backpack with adequate It matches the condor padded battle belt and is a coyote brown color. I included a photo that compares it to khaki or tan colored multi-colored cloth These pouches are designed to hold tools and tourniquets. Since this product has YK hooks (rather than just straps that connect to the belt), I chose it over the Condor. It is a little cumbersome to adjust the chest strap to the smallest setting because it is too large. To keep the excess material from poking out of the chest straps, I installed several coyote brown elastic strap keepers. Only small complaint the chest strap does not attach to the pads, but only loops around to connect with the Molle webbing on one side. Had the padding on the shoulders been thicker, and the chest strap attached to the shoulder straps, I would have given this product five stars.
