Questions & Answers

How long do you think this will take? Is it true that the package says 34" but the details say 16"?

Folded out to 34" Folded up to 16"

Is a crossbow going to fit in there?

I'm not sure; it holds my Parker bow, but how much more the crossbow weighs will depend on how much more it weighs. The holder flexes slightly when fully extended, so I wouldn't recommend hanging two Parker bows on it; I believe it would break under the weight.

It performs admirably
5/5

This year in the stand, I used this hanger for 12 days and really liked it. It's long enough to hold your bow in a position that doesn't require a lot of extra motion in the stand to grasp it, it moves quietly if you need to adjust it with animals beneath you, and it securely holds the bow while still allowing for quick removal when needed. I never had any problems with it moving when I didn't want it to, which was great because it gave me a stable platform even in windy conditions. Just as a side note, the old Realtree hangers had a couple of little hooks on the bar closest to the tree, which I found useful for hanging calls and other items for quick access, and I would like to see those added back to this version, but it is very functional and useful as is.

This is a fantastic hanger
4/5

It screws in easily and does a good job of supporting my Prime Logic, which has a front and back stabilizer, a quiver, and my release hanging from it. I even have a GoPro mounted on my shoulder that holds everything. br>br>I've tried bow hangers with only two arms before, but they always leave me wanting a LITTLE more reach or options. If the hanger must be installed from a "behind you" position, the three options are ideal. The smaller or dual arms, in my opinion, work best if you can hang the hanger on the side or in front of you, like a saddle hunter, or if you have another tree nearby to hang the double arm hangers. br>br>This will most likely be the hanger I use for my hanging tree stand setup, or it will be required behind the back mounts.

I'm very pleased! To limit my movement while bow hunting, I needed a longer bow hanger
5/5

These are a lot longer than the two arm hangers I'm used to, but they're just as sturdy even when fully extended from the tree. I know it's not advertised as a gun hanger, but I've used them to hold my rifle with no issues. I purchased two, but I plan to purchase four or five more for the remainder of my stands.

I don't use anything but hangers
4/5

There are three of these hangers in my collection. Two of them live in the woods with my hang on stands, and the third lives in my backpack for use with my climber. I like the range of motion these provide, and I'm not sure how I lived without them for so long. They're obviously bulkier/heavier, and they usually require tightening after the season, but I'm okay with that. Overall, a very good product. My original one has been in my possession for almost ten years, and I only replaced the nylon locknuts this year when I tightened everything up before bow season (September 2016).

The most important piece of equipment for any sitting hunt is the silencer
5/5

On any hunt, this is an incredible tool to have. They can even be used for hunting on the ground. The ability to hang the bow and move it out of the way is extremely convenient. They're completely silent, and they're simple to spin in most woods. I'm glad I went ahead and purchased them.

This 3-piece set is ideal for my treestand
5/5

You can fold it out of the way and adjust it to keep your bow in the perfect position with the arm version. It's a huge improvement over the 2-bedroom apartment I had before. version with the arms It's well-made and will last a long time.

Bow hanger of the highest quality
5/5

Solid construction that has served as an excellent bow hanger during bear season. When you remove the bow from the rubber coated hook, it makes a slight noise. You might be able to fix it with some non-grippy tape or something similar. It wasn't a significant enough noise or problem for me to attempt to resolve. The joints are stiff, which is good because it prevents them from moving too freely. When you extend or move it, it is extremely quiet. Overall, a fantastic hanger that was simple to set up and has performed admirably this season.

Puts my bow in the right place! It's perfect for holding my Mathews traverse
4/5

Even when fully extended with my bow on it, it does not bend or sag. It keeps my bow right where I need it, so I don't have to move as much to grab it when that big buck comes walking by! It's simple to install; all I had to do was tap the end of the branch with a hammer to get it going in the tree. The only criticism is that better, non-rusting bolts could have been used.
