When you cut the belt, it will fray a little, but this can be easily fixed by melting the edge with a lighter or a candle.

Buckle stinks, and it's easy to lose track of where it's supposed to be. The belt is good, and you get five of them. You can get a different buckle for about $6, which I got from Build a Belt and it's an old school roller, which is a great combination.

To begin with, the title is deceptive. The belts are 1 inch wide. I expected the 5" width to be an issue, but it wasn't. After watching a video, I decided to shorten a couple of belts. I wore one hiking this week and it worked great because you shorten the unfinished side while keeping the taper side. So, all in all, this is a fantastic deal, and I'm extremely pleased with the belts. Since I have five, I figure I'll have enough for the rest of my life, so I won't be concerned if one or more of them fails.
I recently used one for a long walk in the park. It appears to be stuck in one place. Cool colors, and the silver metallic is really nice. Depending on size, it's probably not a good idea to use a s a gun belt for your iwb or owb, but smaller compacts like the Sig p365 or SA hellcat and others might work in a pinch. For many years, I had a vintage metal slide buckle. I included a photo of them unpacked to show that it was time to retire it to the junkyard. I was wearing an open belt before. Colors are fantastic!.
I was a little hesitant about these because of the plastic buckle, but it's not a problem for everyday wear. They're lightweight and comfortable, and the nylon webbing appears to be durable. It's unlikely that you'll break it just by wearing it as a belt, and it's sturdy enough to hold a holster and a 12-inch Bowie without sagging. The price for 5 is hard to beat.

I like how they come in a variety of colors and can easily pass through belt loops. The material is a little thinner than some of the others on Amazon, but this only adds to their weight. Overall, a fantastic belt at an excellent price; I'm going to buy a second set for my son. law.

They're simple to adjust and offer good value. It's a breeze to get through security at the airport. So, if your pants are droopy, these will hold them up without setting off metal detectors, avoiding those awkward pat downs, unless you want to go that route.
Despite being made of plastic, the buckle appears to be well-made. If you're flying, the plastic buckle is useful because it eliminates the need to remove your belt.
