Central Florida is where I call home. It had been up for months before I decided to take it down. So far, there have been no hurricanes, but there has been a lot of wind, rain, and sun. There will be no issues.
yes. The colored cloth webbing is hot glued to the netting in some way, and it will stay in place. To wrap around my duckboat, I had a 20x20 net that I cut into two 10x20 pieces. For many seasons, it has performed admirably.
Yes, a quarter-inch diameter cord around the edges and a netting cord with a smaller diameter throughout. I've had it up and exposed to the elements for nearly a year and it's still going strong.
It isn't the lightest of items. Finding a way to sew/attach it to a suit will be difficult, but it is possible. I suppose you could cut it to fit your body, poke a hole in it for your head, and drape it over you. I wouldn't recommend going too far into the woods with it draped over your shoulders.

The fact that this camo netting has a net backing distinguishes it from other slightly less expensive options. If you don't mind ripping it up, the less expensive option may be sufficient. However, if you're using a boat blind like me, you'll need the added support that the netting provides. I also looked into purchasing netting separately and then attaching it to a different "camo netting" fabric, but the CamoSystems netting was the more cost-effective option. I also save time by not having to attach the netting myself. The product appears to be of high quality and arrived on time. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I recommend that you spend a little more to get better quality; it will pay for itself in the long run by outlasting other netting systems for years of abuse.
This netting isn't even close to the real military camo found on ULCANs, but it's a good 'cheap' alternative. A few pieces flake off on the ends of the initial setup due to manufacturing, but this isn't a big deal. It's simple to set up and doesn't get too tangled up. It was worn in a full-body suit for a month. It held up well in the sun, a dingy, windy location, with little to no fading or shredding. Unless you want to spend $500 on a used ULCAN (that hasn't been approved for civilian purchase, i. e. was obtained illegally), this is the next best thing.
I drive a white four-door sedan, and I put this netting to the test on my car after receiving it the day before yesterday. br>br>It kept getting snagged on the roof antenna, the mirrors, and the trunk's fin (it's a smooth factory fin, but the net still managed to get between the small crevasses) while I was putting it on. While deploying the net, it will catch on everything, including itself. I may have overestimated its strength or applied too much force when installing it, but I did hear something tear at one point. I was testing this in the middle of the night in a suburban neighborhood, and I'm still not sure what tore. br>br>Once fully deployed, my vehicle's white and chrome accents were clearly visible up close, as the net was fully stretched over it. There would probably be no problem if my car wasn't white or didn't have any accents. Although it appears to be better and more durable when you can double it over or suspend it over an object, it still appears to be pretty good and durable as long as you don't force it when it snags.
It has the same look and feel as the camp nets I used in the army. Netting is thick and strong, and the net is designed so that you can cut it into smaller pieces without worrying about it unraveling because each diamond shape in the net is independent of the others.
We ordered our first one about six years ago as a way to keep our young chickens out of the sun and out of hawks' sight. It spans the width of our chicken coop and has lasted for six years, year after year. round. The performance and durability have exceeded our expectations.
Given the cost of a 25 by 25 foot sheet of used military camo, getting 10 feet by 100 feet for the same price is a steal. a f. a f. a f. a f. On one side, it's brown, and on the other, it's green, but the two colors blend together. It's suitable for use in the desert, dry brush, or forests.
Day and night, it's extremely effective, and it's extremely durable and customizable thanks to the internet, which many other systems lack.
Last year, we bought two of these to keep hawks out of our chicken coops. The netting is still as good as new after being exposed to snow, rain, and extreme heat in Texas. There are no signs of rot, tearing, or fading. It's pricier than I prefer, but it works well and lasts longer than the cheaper alternatives. Today I'm going to get a new one to cover another chicken coop!.
