In the beginning, let me say that the only reason I gave these handcuffs 4 stars was because I had to order a replacement lockset from ASP. Handcuffs with this type of lock set come with a different type of key than your usual universal key. The key is used for high security installations. You should be sure the ASP handcuffs you want have the YELLOW lockset if they will use the standard handcuff key. This set appears to be good except that you would need to spend $15 for a new lockset. My Vipertek hingeds are much heavier, and these are so light that for a moment I thought they were While it is so light, the quality seems to be very durable and rugged.
The best handcuffs I have ever used are made by ASP. The price is high but the results are worth it.
