Questions & Answers

The 1000ft spool is continuous or does it come in short spools?

Hello, Craig. I agree. The only exception is when it is a special order, so that we can make sure it is done correctly. The majority of our 1000 feeters are continuous, and the shortest section is no shorter than 300 feet, but some are smaller. A segment is never spliced with another segment if there is more than one. There are very few people who need more than 1000 feet of space. They will be continuous as long as we can accommodate their needs. As a result, we cannot guarantee the continuous operation of all 1000 footers, since it would be very costly on our end and to our customers, so we do not want to do that. I wish you all the best, A TOUGH COMPANY

Is there a difference between the diameter and length of the cord?

This is what the description says The fractional inch).

How many feet are on the 200 foot reel?

I can't think of any better solution to my unique project
5/5

This paracord came on a reel of 1000 feet in white a year ago. I bought it because I wanted to knit my kids swing. As far as I could tell, this was the strongest and safest basket to use! You can swing in the swing type. That was right! I am happy to report this! I knit the swing and it still looks the same today as it did 8 months ago, even though knitting with paracord presented me with unique challenges (if you need tips, let me know!). Originally from Texas, I currently live in New York. As you can see in the picture, this swing has no protection from the elements. During that time, it was subjugated by the mercies of God - I received 5 inches in 3 days easily), and it withstood two storms that blew out people's roofs and uprooted trees wider than an SUV so it held down! The branch of the tree is just hanging off of it. Can't wait until my kids have a chance There is no dirt that sticks to it, but the steel cords I used to hang it twisted and bent from use after a while. However, the swing appears to be perfectly fine. During our regular use of the sofa, it has grown about 20% in the middle because my 220 lb husband and my kids have been lounging in it! This seller is a very kind and generous person, who truly wants to make the customer happy with his purchase.

I also want to add that the paracord, which I ordered, replaced the steel cord! It has been a pleasure doing business with the seller. However, I had a hard time keeping the cord wound when I attempted to use the product for the first time and the reel sides broke. I had a wonderful experience with this seller who went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. It was a pleasure to do business with him and I would highly recommend this seller and product.

Check them out for yourself, they are worth the price

I didn't know anything about TOUGH-I ordered this without any prior knowledge of the product. A GRID product or its components. As a result of what I received, I am impressed. TOUGH has been contacted by the seller and I gave it feedback I've got Grid. I would like to provide feedback as follows My testing of the 750 orange paracord has been completed. I also received the 25 feet of forest camo paracord that Adam sent me. Adam, thank you so much! As I said, the outer casing of the 750 paracord is much tighter, and the inner strands do not bunch or creep over like some of the other A closer examination of the 750 cord notes that there are more inner strands packed into the casing of the same diameter. However, the cord's circumference feels similar to that of 550 cord. The inner strands of these yarns are three strands each as opposed to two strands as some other manufacturers do. On the white triangular discs there are 11 A subtle 12 colored weave strand and seven bi-colored strands are in the sample I tested, compared to the seven bi-colored ones Using my 550 cord, I woven three strands together. The weave strands of your 750 paracord will come out easier, and they will maintain their structural integrity better than the Bi-cord Here is a weave 550 cord sample that I am using to compare yours. This is a much better product for outdoor applications, and the case/core are much tighter, making them useful for crafting, if you're interested. It's not wrist bracelets and key fobs (because I make rifle slings and drag handles for my gear) but the idea is still This is not a paid review it is the opinion of a recently retired military officer with 20+ years of service.

Product is pretty good, but doesn't live up to the claims

There are other more suitable alternatives. When I saw how soft and cloth-like it was, I was disappointed This is what the outer layer feels like. Comparing it to another brand I bought from Amazon, Paracord Planet's cord has a stronger feel to it and the knots have a better "locked-in" feel You can tell that it has an "in" Nylon strands tend to fray outward. This is not a good sign of quality. The last one from Tough Grid would not be recommended. Guess I'll just use the rest of it for backup or temporary use There are several duty situations that can occur.

This is an excellent value for I would give everything I have to you! Kids and I have been doing knots a lot lately, and we already have some cheap ones we can practice with from the neighborhood shop
5/5

These cheap ones were used to make robe hammocks, but we never felt secure. Our team was debating whether to use the middle of the grade Type III 550lb or the ultimate TOUGH- type We chose the Tough-A-Cord Tough-V 750lb Type lV Paracord as the price difference between types III and IV wasn't that much so it made perfect sense. It is grid-like. Customer service and shipping were fantastic as well. We ordered a 1000' spool, and it arrived super fast. Throughout the stay, Bill handled us well (you will know what he's like). It Takes a Tough Man Super strong is how they are described. The outer sheath is grid-like. Take your pick of these 2 tips on how to burn the ends I. 1. The cord shouldn't be too short. Cut it a few inches longer than you need. Taking the cord horizontally and holding it against the flame, move it (with a little tension) to the point where it will be cut. As the outer layer (mantle) melts, it narrows down to about 2/3 of its original size. At that point, cut it once it has cooled. The cord should not be burned. It should only be melted. As a result, the core (kern) will be held in position by the mantle. 1. 2. Take a paper towel and blot it with water. Taking the end that is burning, wrap a paper towel around it and run it along the cord until it reaches the burnt end and up the cord. Because it tapers at the end, it can easily be threaded through anything that needs it.

Militaria vetted for authenticity Upon arrival, the paracord came sealed in clear plastic bags with labels
5/5

There was an easy way to hank the paracord (less than 5 minutes per 100 feet) because it was looped and packaged in such a way that it could easily be hanked. The most important element here is that it is genuine 750# paracord (made in the USA), which also meets MIL-STD-810 specs. It is 5040. It is a Type IV standard. My workshop is equipped with a 20 foot length and following is what I found The paracord was excellent in all categories - strength, elasticity, knotting, etc. It may be worth mentioning that I am an avid outdoorsman and former Army infantry officer with a number of Among the many uses of paracord I have encountered The paracord can be used for many purposes including making a rifle sling, creating stretchers, as well as shelters, dressing game and building rafts. It is an excellent addition to my kit in that I can depend on it to perform within.
