Upon removing the cardboard end, the spool came apart. A tangle of wires came out of the cord. Do you know what you can do?

Assuming you have the winding gear, the best thing to do on a 1k roll is find a 2ft 1" pipe or the like, maybe a broom stick and just start rolling, unless you have the winding gear otherwise what a pain that is

Hello Reed, the core of this cord is nylon, so it is standard 550 paracord. A fishing line and tinder are both trapped inside the core of the cord we call "Fish and Fire". Thanks a lot! I'm Vincent

What happens if you shine a blacklight on this neon-colored cord?

Yes, neon and fluorescent colors change colors in black or UV light. The color it changes into depends on the color, but most neon colors such as orange, pink, green, yellow are brilliant.

Those chairs are made from paracord! Rather than use cast aluminum chair slings that have become ripped/ torn/ defunct with age, all I did was weave corded chair slings

There's a lot of rigidity to it, making for a very sturdy yet comfortable (In particular, aluminum chairs that are strong and comfortable for tall people with large frames! *fn) The cream color paracord is very nice and neutral and less pink than the stock photo implies. In the same way that ivory differs from white when it comes to wedding dresses, I would compare it to "ivory". As for my project, I will share pictures of it once it is complete. I will be doing the last three chairs at my own pace. Due to how the chairs are made, it is a huge hassle pulling that cord through every side, but I think it's worth it in the end. On the back rails as I worked, I tied fisherman's knots on sections that ranged from 100 to 200 feet in length. Though I may have been able to save time by wrapping the outer rails, I don't think that would have looked so good. The paracord chair took about eight hours to make, if everyone else is interested in undertaking similar paracord projects. Now you don't have to worry about your behind hanging below the seat of the chair.

Although I wasn't thrilled with the 550 for that purpose, because it is a bit wide. Nevertheless, the cord is performing well, and I wear a mask only once before it is washed, so it is taking a lot.

To make some get back whips, I bought paracord (I could have just bought them, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun as making them myself! There is a lot of vibrancy in the colors and the cord is well constructed. In the near future, I will order more!.

In many cases, true 550 paracord is extremely valuable

As a paracord user and instructor, I have always found real paracord to be valuable. I have used it under both mil-spec and civilian conditions and 550 cord is always of substantial value. It has always been a problem for me that although colors may be brilliant for rescue and drab for ops, I now only buy paracord from two sources and the paracord store is one I have not seemed to have issues with speed, color or length from 10' to 1000'. 550 paracord from this store is excellent. They do a good job in selling paracord. In Rockon, Illinois.

Make sure to order from Paracord Store and not Paracord Planet

The description is exactly as written. From Paracord Store, we ordered two, and both arrived The tape is still attached to the spool and wrapped in cling wrap so that it does not unravel. I noticed they were not spooled after they were bought from Paracord Planet. It feels like 500 feet of tangled mess is crammed into one.
