This was the first time I had to use it on a real-life situation against a man who was beating his girlfriend on the metro in Los Angeles. I and another person were able to subdue him into a chair after he felt it a few seconds after I did. The LAPD took 20 minutes to arrive, and we had grown tired of restraining him, but in the end, even the perpetrator was begging for police to arrive, and complaining how much his eyes hurt and he had difficulty breathing. I filmed when the LAPD finally took him into custody I feel so much better, now knowing that it really does work against people who are violent, and this is standard equipment for all my team members, mostly women, to carry while on the job, doing our community outreach work.

No use is made of this. The only problem I had was that I had to buy one for every friend of my wife. Therefore, they would likely deter a mugging since they are all matching. is my second year of purchasing all these sprays, and I feel like I deserve some kind of discount because I spend so much money on them. I've carried this product for about 5 years and part of the plastic grip has broken. I'm in favor of it because it is easy to use. As soon as the new one arrived, we began training on the older one. I was satisfied with the result. The stream is nice and strong. Sticked a cardboard face target to a tree, I made a target out of cardboard. From 6 to 8 feet away, my wife was able to hit the target areas of the face, such as the nose, eyes, and mouth. After the stream warmed up, we managed to get five or six good shots before the stream broke down. I really feel the burn from this stuff! As I was taking the target down, I got some on my neck and arm. I tried washing with water, but it did not For about an hour, my skin burned and reddened. I washed the affected areas with alcohol and that relieved the discomfort. Thanks to the eyeglasses for keeping the ball out!.

About a month later, I was walking down the sidewalk of my street when a pitbull managed to escape. My dog and I were running across the street in the same direction when the dog appeared. In the beginning, I didn't know whether the dog was a friend or a foe, so I didn't want to spray him. I sprayed his face directly when he got into the pouncing position. As he started shaking his head, he backed off. I was asked if I was all right by his owner when he ran over to get him. I just said, "Your dog was beaten up by me. ". As I was shaking, I could barely speak. As a result, I am truly thankful to God that everything turned out as it should and that the Mace worked as it was supposed to. This product is something I will definitely buy In case I need another one, I might replace the one I discharged. By using this defense, I and my dog are both safe from being seriously injured by a pitbull.

I don't know if mine is defective or not but it doesn't even come close to 12 feet. In the time it takes me to spray enough water at a potential threat A full four feet tall! harm to me as the spray itself is limited in both distance and area it will affect. You'd have to spray and wave it all around to ensure you get the perpetrator. The app is ineffective for the task it is meant to fulfill. I have updated the post on 5/27/21. It sprays longer and you get more sprays per can with the Sabre brand than the Mace brand, so if you feel like you need one, get it. It will be better.
